Serene Ariadne Collins
I don't believe in legends. This school might be some sort of a weird institution. But I must admit that it's very well equipped and has nice and well built structures.
It might take me some time wandering around the institution. This is certainly wide and huge with a lot of right,straight and left turns.
What is this? A maze??
I came across with a seemingly old building. It looks like haunted, but checking it out won't hurt right?
Just as I am about to enter, a loud voice boomed at the area, that made me halt.
"You're not allowed to enter that building... are you new here?" Asked a girl.
"Yes, I'm just new here. Why is it forbidden?" I asked confused.
"It is for you to find out. Come with me, I'll bring you to the teachers faculty. Get your dorm key, school mobile phone, your uniform and schedule. Your I.D will soon be given to you by the Student Execom. Maybe three days from now since you're not the only transferree. And If I were you... don't doubt the warnings they give you. It is not only a legend, you'll know once the classes officially start. And please, do mind to read the history of our Academy in order to avoid problems, and lastly, we would certainly appreciate if you'd abide with the rules and regulations or you'll be punished severely,"
I just kept on nodding my head. She did said a lot of things. When we arrived at the Teachers' Faculty, I was welcomed with a heavy aura. What's with this school and it's seemingly dark aura?
"Go now, I still have a lot of matters to take actions to," she said then left without saying anything else. Not even giving me a chance to atleast ask one last question.
*KNOCK.KNOCK.KNOCK.*
The door slowly opened and the creaking of the door kinda gets into my nerves.
"May I come in?" I asked politely.
"Sure, and please take a seat," I heard a woman's voice.
I entered inside and sat on the chair infront of the head mistress, according to the name plate on her table
"Transferree?"she asks smiling.
"Yes,"
"Name please,"
"Serene Ariadne Collins," I answered.
She abruptly stopped from rummaging through the folders in front of her and looked at me with knitted brows.
"Is there any problem ma'am?" I asked.
"Are you... related to the old Aegeus Basil Collins?" She asked seemingly nervous.
"Our great, great grandpa? As from the history of our family... he's the Patriarch of our clan," I answered that made her even stiff from her sit.
"These are all your things, have a great time in our academy," She said.
I just thanked her and went out of the faculty. Why did she act that weird?
I started the mobile phone to use the map app. While I am continuously browsing over the map while walking, I abruptly halt for some unknown reason.
It's the same building again. Why do I seem so drawn to this eerie building? I looked sideways to see if anyone's here other than me. And it seems like, I am alone here. I sucked in a breath and tapped my chest. I am nervous... of course, who wouldn't be?
I jumped over the barricades and hurriedly went inside the hallway in order to hide in case someone pass by.I peeked through the sliding window to see if someone's outside, and to my relief... no one's out there.
And so, I sucked in all the air I could muster... because seriously, the aura this building casts is something you wouldn't want to feel all the way to your bones. I roamed my eyes all over the facilities of the building.
All the things here can still be used... why did they abandon this one instead of renovating it? I peeked through one of the classrooms.
I couldn't believe what I saw... written on the board with red fluid that seems to be blood... says.
GET OUT OF HERE WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!
Was it written long time ago or just now? But I don't think so... the fluid is dripping from the lettering down to the floor. So it was just written recently. Or was I having an illusion?
I don't really know... This building makes me crazy. Nevertheless, I still continued wandering around. Until I reached the first stair, heading to the second floor...
And now that I realized... the entire floor is made up of lubricated wood floor, but now it's destroyed. Every step I make, creates a creeking sound which gets into my nerves. I feel like a female lead on a horror movie.
Okay, cut the drama... I'm just here, a stubborn girl who just want to feed her curiousity. And indeed, curiuosity might kill the cat, because the moment I stepped at the second floor's ground... my mind went to haste and I felt like vomiting.
WHY THE FUCK AM I SPINNING AROUND AND WHY IS MY SURROUNDING CHANGING INTO A DIFFERENT PLACE?!
"Kyaaahhhhhhh!!!!!"
I kept screaming as I got swallowed by different holes... just like what I see in movies. Like different dimensions.
Gosh!! This school is no ordinary!!!
I thought I'm gonna land on a soft ground but it's the exact fucking opposite! I fell flat,front first on a luxurious tile flooring!!
"Ouch!" I grimaced as my body gets in contact with the cold floor.
How will I go back like before? Where am I? Oh my gosh, I'm having a panick attack.
"Who are you?"
A deep man's voice echoed through out the room. "I-I... I swear, I didn't mean to-"
"I SAID WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?! AND HOW DID YOU GET IN MY TERRITORY?!" He shouted which made me flinch.
"You are... your aura feels different. You're not just a human are you?" He asks. Eyeing me up and down.
What the fuck is he talking about? I am a human!!
"What the heck? I am completely a human! What do you take me for? An alien, that has invaded your... your so-called territory?!" I spat on his face.
Ironic though, coz I can't see his face. He's wearing a face mask with a weird design. Closely to a fox style.
"No one... gets to disrespect me like you do," He said furiously and he yanked my arm forcefully.
"Stop dragging me like a inny tiny kitten! My parents haven't even did this to me—before,"
I suddenly felt melancholic. I... I remembered them again. Drowning in my own thoughts, the man abruptly stopped walking causing me to bump my face on his hard back.
"The heck?!" I yelled in pain as I massage my nose.
"Now that it occured to my mind... how the hell can you touch me?" He asked in bewilderment.
And I returned the same reaction to him. What the hell is that suppose to mean?
"What do you possibly mean by that?" I asked confused.
"Humans, aren't supposed to be able to touch us... because were just spirits. Unless, we share a special bond with that human," he explained.
And I stilled. He's a spirit. I was able to touch him. Special bond.
"You're in a confusion. Go back to your world now, and never come back again,"
I haven't even complained yet when a portal opened and he pushed me over without hesitation.
And there it goes again. I felt like vomitting and everything is spinning.
"Serene! God this child, wake up so you can attend your new school!"
I jolted up on my bed panting.
That... that was a freaking dream?!
WHY THE FUCK WOULD I DREAM LIKE THAT?!
Have I carried a misfortune for me to dream about that?
