Chapter 15 - Beautiful

Dahlia felt warmth coming from her back, and arms that surrounded her like walls that protected her.

She felt coarse and rough hands that dried her tears.

"Why are you crying when you have me around?" Hei Bohai asked with a rough voice.

"Why d-did y-you open the door with a-an axe?" Dahlia sniffed.

"Because I heard you crying. You can't cry when I'm around. The reason I took you in was because I wanted you to smile, not cry sad depressing tears." Hei Bohai comforted and continued to hug Dahlia from the back as they both sat down on the hard ground enjoying each other's presence.

"I'm sorry I got mad at you and mentioned those ugly bast*rds. Don't be sad, I'm sorry I made you cry." Hei Bohai sounded very sorrowful, after all he made his beloved cry because of him.

Dahlia felt he was about to cry and turned around to quickly give him a hug. She whispered, "It's okay, Bo."

Hei Bohai's body stiffened.

"Awww. Did you call me by my name? That's the first time I've heard that from you." Hei Bohai stretched his smile a mile long. He caressed Dahlia's cheeks and squeezed them lightly.

"No, I was just saying that for fun. I was trying to say I wanted some ba-na-nas." Dahlia pouted her tears had finally dried. Hei Bohai still smiled as he chuckled lightly.

"Well, if you don't want me to cry. Let me go to college. Please?" Dahlia puffed her cheeks.

"Yeah, I'll let you go. After all, you need to have an education." Hei Bohai agreed.

Dahlia looked at him dead in the eye, even if she was blind, she could still feel instinctively where his eyes were.

She thought that if she had her sight back, she might be blinded at his man beauty. She touched Hei Bohai's face, she felt his chiseled jawline and raised cheekbones, she felt his glasses that rested on his high bridged nose. She went up to his soft hair that had gone stiff from gel, but his hair was surprisingly quite soft.

"What color is your hair?" She asked. She felt she could imagine what he could've looked like by feeling his face. What Dahlia didn't realize that Hei Bohai was quite anxious, Dahlia had actually approached him first. Hei Bohai decided that he would mark this day on his calendar.

"Let's see, maybe you could tell me what it is." Hei Bohai guided her hands to his head once again.

Dahlia pulled away from Hei Bohai's hands.

"Stupid person! I just needed to see what you looked like. Of course, I could always get your image wrong and make you out to be a monster. I mean, either works for me."

Dahlia stood up and shrugged her shoulders.

"What do you mean? My handsomeness is obviously seen by everyone, even the blind." Hei Bohai boasted.

"Maybe not the blind." Dahlia said as she walked out of the bathroom. As soon as her back was turned to Hei Bohai, she smiled a little.
