The maids opened the thick curtains that shielded the room from the morning sunshine. The candles were blown off as they prepared for the routine of the lady who laid asleep on her bed.
Her maid gently shook her, "Your Highness."
A soft groan came out of Nelina's lips as her eyes fluttered. She flashed a small smile at her maid as a tray of her breakfast was served in front of her.
She took her time to basked under the sunlight that seeped through the windows of her room. After a tiring night, she decided to miss her morning walk before the first meal of the day.
With a book in her hand, she sipped her tea. Her maid, as usual, reminded her to focus only on one thing and drop the other. Nelina nodded as she ignored her maid as usual.
The birds outside her room sang in chorus to welcome the bright day. She took a deep breath and glanced at her maids.
She hated their loud noises.
