She tore her attention away from Cailina who had just conversed with her brother after Viscount Higgins' daughter performed and met her mother's playful eyes, "Where is father?"
Her mother, Lady Saville, sighed as she gestured with her gaze at the direction of Lord Higgins. Waiola glanced and saw that her father was smiling at Cailean. It was enough that he was proud of how talented she was.
She failed to notice that her father left his seat. Her fingers softly tapped on the table as the gift of the Emperor prepared themselves at the center.
