Chapter 32 - The Richman - Hidden Feeling

Richard sat in silence, in his private jet which was taking him to Puerto Rico. His jaw tightened just as the pilot informed him that they were landing at Rafael Hernandez International Airport. His private jet landed smoothly, but Richard's feelings became even more turbulent.

Richard got off his private jet and was immediately greeted by a man named Jared. He is one of the people Richard paid to find his wife's whereabouts since the facts about Christabell that Gabrielle Zein fled to Puerto Rico were revealed.

"Good Morning Sir." Greet the man kindly.

"Good morning," Richard replied. "Are you sure someone has seen my wife around here?" Asked Richard.

"Yes sir," Jared replied. "Your wife was seen checking into the hospital a few weeks ago." He said sure. "We'll go to the hospital to make sure of that," Jared said. "But before that, I'll take you to the hotel."

"I want us to go straight to the hospital." Richard didn't seem to want to waste time.

Jared nodded, "As your order, sir." He answered.

They arrived at the hospital and immediately asked the receptionist about the data on a patient named Christabell Anthony, but no woman named Christabell Anthony was a patient at the hospital.

"How about this?" Richard looked frustrated at Jared.

"I better take you to rest at the inn. I promise to find the facts tonight. I will ask the help of people I know at the hospital to find out the facts about your wife." Jared said until finally Richard softened and chose to go to the inn and rest, at least tonight before tomorrow morning he returned to search.

"You can hire more people so the search can be more thorough and we can find results faster. I don't want to waste any more time finding my wife and baby. I'll pay upfront to them, you can start search tomorrow." Said Richard, staring out the car window.

"Yes sir," Jared replied.

Richard's face was gloomy. In his heart, he couldn't wait to find the wife. After riding a car for about an hour, their car entered the parking area of Villa Montana Beach Resort. Richard chose to stay in the president suite room during the Bell thawing process.

Meanwhile at Pablo's house, he seemed to be busy preparing breakfast for Christabell since morning. This he did every day before leaving for work. Preparing meals for Christabell became his morning routine after she lived with him.

Pablo prepared breakfast for Christabell, which included a bowl of red bean soup, a glass of almond milk, roast beef, and arranged it neatly on the tray. With a smile on his face, he walked toward the room occupied by Christabell and her daughter.

Because both of his hands were holding the tray, Pablo didn't knock on the door and immediately burst into Christabell's room, "I made you breakfast." he said while his eyes fixed on Chrsitabell who was sitting while nursing her little daughter with a cloth covering her bust.

"Sorry I didn't know ..." Pablo stopped his intention to go deeper into the room.

"It's OK." Bell smiled. For some reason, behind Pablo's gentle gaze at Christabell, the man seemed to have paid more attention to the beautiful woman who now looked a little curvy after giving birth to her daughter.

Pablo also seemed to have fallen in love with the tiny baby who often fell asleep in his arms while his mother was doing various things in the house.

"I'll put your breakfast on the table," Pablo said awkwardly.

Christabell smiled. "I'm really hungry actually, I feel like I want to chew everything right now." The joke was followed by a crisp laugh, it made the brown-skinned man smile broadly and showed a row of white teeth, as well as dimples on his face which made the man look so cute, in addition to his treatment of Christabell, was also sweet.

"You bought milk?" Bell asked confused.

Pablo seemed to swallow hard. "I was shopping and heard two women talking about almond milk, which is good for the nursing mom."

"What did they say?" A curious gaze clearly emanated from Bell's face.

Pablo placed the tray on the small table near the bed. "I just heard that one woman said she wanted to buy almond milk for her daughter who just gave birth."

"And you bought the same milk right away?"

Pablo smiled sheepishly. "No, I was waiting for them to leave after that I took one for you."

"I don't know how I have to repay your kindness." Bell was completely melting with Pablo's treatment of her. "I wonder why you chose to be alone when all the women would say yes when you asked them to be your wife, I guess." Bell joked, somehow it made Pablo smile once again.

"I'm not interested in them." The answer is short.

"I feel like Esmeralda likes you."

"Esmeralda?" Pablo's brows knitted together.

"Yeah, she always talking about you," Christabell said, but Pablo just rose his eyebrow without answer.

"Give her to me." He asked to take the little baby to his arm. And Christabell gave Adrianna to Pablo, then shortly after Bell tidied himself up because the princess seemed to have fallen asleep on his lap after being satisfied drinking milk from his mother.

"Thanks." Christabell handed Adrianna to Pablo while he switched to the food tray. "Can I eat it?"

"Of course." Nod Pablo.

Christabell emphasized the milk in the still-warm glass. "Wow, this is incredible, I love the taste. You're so talented." Praise Christabell.

"Thank you." Pablo seemed to enjoy looking at Adrianna and his mother alternately, they really looked like angels in large and small packages. Their beauty is perfect.

"You seemed evasive when I talked about Esmeralda," Christabell said that in the midst of his activities eating breakfast.

"No, I don't." Shake Pablo. "I just don't want to talk about romance, I don't have time to think about that." Pablo answered.

Christabell placed the empty almond glass on the tray and turned to Pablo. "Is that me and my baby being such a burden for you, so you don't have time to think about yourself?"

"What are you saying, don't think nonsense," Pablo answered. "This has nothing to do with you." Pablo continued his sentence.

Christabell glanced deeply at Pablo, "Listen to me." he said. "My husband is also the same person as you, he really didn't believe in romance before. But then he met me and he broke all principles about romance. He fell in love and we got married." Christabell's smile, her eyes sparkling at the memory of how sweet Richard Anthony was.

"He's a nice person, just like you." Christabell smile, "When you meet the right woman, I'm sure you will break all of your principles. Sometimes romance makes someone's life more beautiful, believe me." Christabell tries to convince Pablo.

Pablo smiled, he looked at Christabell deeply. His heart whispered, "My life has been color full since your arrival, is that love?"

"Why did you staring at me like that?" Christabell asked awkwardly.

"Nothing." Lied Pablo. "If you finish breakfast, I'm off to work now." Pablo really wanted to keep those feelings to himself.

"Of course." Christabell finished breakfast. "Thank you for everything you did for us." Said Christabell sincerely. "I hope you meet your true love, Pablo."

Pablo smiled, once again he whispered to himself, "Maybe it was you."
