Richard comes to the location where Brandon was found. But the police did not find the hostages at that place. Brandon put Christabell elsewhere because his goal was not to get a ransom.
"She really plans to kill him," Richard spoke hastily to detective Marco.
"We will look for it," Marco said.
Waiting was the worst thing in Rich's life, he hated waiting, let alone waiting for certainty whether Christabell's life was still in his body or not. It's been half a day, and that means who knows how long Bell has been out there in an unsustainable state, and no progress has been made on the investigation.
Afternoon, Richard got word from the police handling his case that Bell was found in critical condition in a remote house on the edge of the forest and is now on his way to the hospital.
Like a madman Richard rushed to the parking lot at his house and with the fastest vehicle he had, as well as maximum speed, Rich headed for the hospital where Bell was to be treated.

Richard arrives at the hospital and looks for Christabell's whereabouts in the emergency room. So many patients and Richard had to search one by one until he found in a bed Christabell was lying weakly with an IV line stuck in her hand. Looking unconscious, Richard immediately took her hand and looked at Christabell.
"Christabell, open your eyes. It's me, Richard." Richar's face looked panicked, he was really worried about Christabell's condition.
A nurse approached him and asked Richard. "Are you her family?" Asked the nurse.
"Yes." Richard nodded, although his gaze was still on Christabell.
"We will move her to the treatment room, her condition is starting to stabilize. She's just losing a lot of fluids and is weak, she will get better soon." Said the nurse. "Please sign here." The nurse gave a tablet containing treatment approval documents for the patient to be hospitalized.
After Richard signed the documents, Christabell was transferred to a treatment room. Meanwhile in the treatment room not only Richard himself, the police are on guard to question Chritabell when she regains consciousness as a victim witness.
A doctor came in and examined Christabell's condition after she was transferred to the room.
"Hi." The doctor said to Richard. "I'm Doctor Abigail Jones."
"Doctor Jones." Richard said hello. "What happened to her?"
The doctor checked with a stethoscope to confirm the heartbeat then with a flashlight to confirm that Christabell's pupil was normal. "She was a victim of kidnapping, of course, she was dehydrated for a long time. But you should be grateful that she was found on time, if only longer she might not have survived." Said Doctor Jones.
"Will she be all right?" Richard asked anxiously.
"We have thoroughly examined it, there is no internal bleeding, no deep wounds, and no broken bones. The condition of the skull is also not experiencing any problems, there are no signs of violence except for the marks of ties on the hands and feet." Said the doctor.
"Mrs. Cristabell is strong enough, she can survive a long state of dehydration." Said the doctor and a ray of hope flashed across Rich's face.
"Does that mean she's going past the critical moment?" asked Richard hopefully.
"We still have to wait, it is too early to reach the conclusions." The doctor said with a dry smile, "But I have one thing to worry about."
"What is it?"
"Mrs. Christabell's pregnancy, very frail."
"Pregnant?!" Richard seemed to have just been struck by lightning at this, his memories were immediately dragged into the incident, when he and Bell were in such passionate sex for the very first time, and he forgot wearing the condom. And the following sex activities, Christabell insisted on refusing Richard to wear the condom and Richard did as she said.
"Yes, we found the HCG hormone in her blood lab results, and we've confirmed it through an ultrasound examination. There's a little dot called a fetus." Doctor Jones looked at Richard, "Let's check one more time." Doctor Jones poured gel over Christabell's undressed stomach and turned on the ultrasound machine and stuck it on. She moved the stick around to find something that was only black appeared on the screen. He stopped when he saw a small white dot there.
"Over there." Doctor Jones turned to Richard, and the man froze at the white dot on the monitor screen. Richard took a deep breath. "Will he be all right in there?"
"We will continue to monitor the conditions of both of them." The doctor smiled at Richard before leaving him alone with Christabell.
"Thank you." said Richard
Richard sat on the side of the hospital bed where Christabell was lying and gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "Stay with me, please." He whispered before kissing Christabell's hand with his lips. All he could do now was wait for Christabell to wake up.
