When he got home, Christabell seemed to have curled up in bed and fell asleep. Richard rolled up the sleeves of his shirt and walked over to his wife, then gave her a quick kiss before walking into the bathroom to take a shower.
After changing clothes, Rich returned to the room and approached the baby box where Baby Adrianna was also fast asleep. Once again, Rich's sigh was deep enough. He looked alternately at baby Adrianna and her mother. Richard Anthony finally crawled into bed and hugged his wife and fell asleep after a long and tiring day.
Meanwhile, the accident between her and Layla Stone, that happened this afternoon seemed to have affected Christabell's subconscious, until she was carried away in her night dreams. It was as if she stood and watched all the events that Layla Stone told her in real.
Christabell could see the beautiful twenty-year-old woman who looked attractive was enjoying her vacation in Dubai with her friends. Then the scene on the plane where she met a handsome man who stole her heart at that time. They really looked as if they were enchanted by one another. But strangely, Christabell could not recognize the man's face very well, even though she could see the beauty and charm of Layla Stone as it was real.
Even Christabell saw a scene where the two humans made love to each other, with passionate love. There was nothing wrong with them, they were just two people who fell in love with each other. Unfortunately, young Layla was too naive to entrust everything to this man.
The scenes moved rapidly, but in fact, the dream became very tiring for Christabell who had to see the pregnant young girl try to escape from her mother, and it was hard. Even in her dream, Christabell could imagine the hard time that young Layla faced. She compared the difficulty of having to bear baby Adrianna in her kidnapping in Puerto Rico, it was as hard as what young Layla faced, she must be alone and felt on the bottom of the loneliness. A moment that shook her sanity, giving birth without a husband by her side, without the family, and without money.
"Arrrgghhh!" Christabell could feel the loud screams when young Layla tried to give birth to her with a pale face and thin body. Blood gushes from the uterine cavity with the baby girl's crying and it feels as if Christabell has been splashed with blood on her face, making her shock and wake up from her dream.
"Ahhh !!" Christabell woke up as if she had just been pulled from the real thing that happened before her like a long, emotionally draining film. Christabell's sweat was streaming down her face down to her neck.
Richard got up and confirmed his wife's condition. " Honey, are you ok?" Rich's hoarse voice was heard as he rubbed his wife's back.
"Are you ok?" Rich asked as he fetched a glass of mineral water by the side of the bed and handed it to his wife. "Drink it." Said, Richard.
"Thank you." nodded Christabell. "Just a nightmare." He said after taking a few sips of water and returning the glass to the small bedside table. Christabell curled back into the bed and Richard gave her a hug.
"What dream?" Richard asked.
Christabell shook her head, "I don't know, something strange." She lied to her husband. "Did baby Adrianna wake up?" Asked Christabell, she tried to change the subject. For now, Christabell isn't ready to tell Richard about meeting her birth mother. Christabell did not seem ready to get a response from Richard if he knew that her birth mother was still alive.
"A few minutes ago, maybe half an hour ago. I gave her milk and he fell asleep again." Rich said.
Christabell rubbed Rich's face. "You should wake me up, let me take care of it."
"You seem to sleep very well, I can't bear to wake you." Rich replied.
"Thanks." Bell plunged himself deeper, and Richard tightened his arms.
"Go back to sleep." Rich whispered followed by a kiss on the head of Christabell.
"Yes." Nod Christabell.
In fact, besides Richard, Christabell also seemed to intend to hide the incident this afternoon, when the middle-aged woman came and claimed to be her biological mother. Christabell thought that this was the problem and she should solve it herself without involving her husband Richard because after all, Richard was too busy with various things related to his work. This matter shouldn't burden him anymore.
After all, things Richard handled, sometimes Christabell felt that she was not quite useful in the house. Every now and then she wants to help ease the burden on her husband's mind, one of which is by choosing to hide the fact of the return of her birth mother who left her decades ago.
Christabell fell asleep again. There is no hug warmer than her husband's. The most comfortable place to enjoy a good night's sleep is in Richard Anthony's warm embrace. As if all wounds, all tears will be borne by him.
