One hour after Cate called, a helicopter landed on top of the landing pad on the hotel. "Where's my daughter?!" A man in what seemed like his fifties jumped off the chopper. The man had a general outfit with many medals on his chest, he came with two men in lab coats. "Sir, she is in room ___, let me show you the way." An older looking bellhop came and escorted the men.
It didn't take very long for them to get to the room, the officer quickly entered the room "I'm here! And as you asked, I have brought our top doctors!"
Cate noticed the man and a smile immediately showed itself "Dad! Thank you so much, they are in the medic room. Dad, why are you here though?"
Cate's Father then put on a sad face "Do you not want to see your poor old dad? I guess I'll go back to my office where I look at paperwork all day... It's really boring when you have no action, I wouldn't have taken this promotion if I knew..."
"It's not that, I'm just curious. Even if you wanted to see me it would be after I complete this case. So dad, what is the occasion?" Cate asked as she walked up to her father in a disdainful manner.
Simon stood in front of Cate's father, stopping Cate "You shouldn't talk to a General like that. Even if he is your father, it is classified and you should not know about it."
Suddenly, Simon felt a hand on his shoulder which made him shiver his ass off in fear. He looked back and when he saw the look on the general's face, it was like death itself was holding him! "Lieutenant Simon, where do you think you have the right to order people around in front of me?"
"I-I'm sorry sir!" Simon stuttered.
"I am the one in charge lieutenant, and I can say what I want. Besides, do you really think I don't know how to say no to my own daughter?" The general smirked.
"Hey dad, can you say no to me?~" Cate pushed Simon and continued to get closer to her father. "So. Why are you here?"
The general looked away but answered anyway 'You are too much like your mother.' He thought. "I am here to get the alien to meet the president. One of our science teams informed us that something important was going to happen."
'This was expected?' Cate became even more curious but didn't ask because she knew it was one of 'those'.
It took about another hour til the doctors left the medic room. "How are they?" Cate asked.
The doctors looked at each other before answering "Based on what we know, it seems that they are fine physically. Their brain is what is having the problems, it seems to be struggling to adjust."
"Adjust? Adjust to what?" Simon questioned.
"Adjust to our time." One of the doctors said. This caused odd looks from the others in the room.
---------
Kid was still in pain but it wasn't nearly as bad as before. He had long given up on trying to get out of his own mind, mainly because this wasn't his expertise, but also because the pain had cracked him a little.
"Hey Kid, whatcha doin'?" Iris was still talking. It had gotten through the six stages of acceptance and now was questioning Kid about everything.
The two had gotten to know each other quite a bit because of quaranti- I mean soul-stuck. For one, Iris was made of entirely energy, particularly solar energy. Lived on one of the newer galaxies found and was one of the few left of its kind. The reason for that was because their race, the Solar Falcon's, had a civil war at the wrong time. They lived in relative peace because its sun was a member of The Family and gained their energy by it. When one of their kind got killed by another race, half wanted to retaliate, while the other half believed there was a valid reason for its death. This caused internal strife which inevitably led to a civil war. After the war was over with the peaceful side winning, if you call sixty percent of the population dead a win, another problem rose. One of the U.G.'s nobles' found them and thought of the idea of using them as an energy source. Their race fought back but were already weakened by the war before, another twenty percent died and the rest were captured and used as fuel. Solar falcons have a lot of energy and can store a lot too, but when they don't gain enough solar energy, they quickly die. And that is what happened, they started to die before any scientist or engineers could use them. When they were able to figure it out, another thirty percent died.
The whole time Iris told Kid the story, both Kid and Iris could feel each others emotions and deduced that their souls caused this anomaly. Kid wanted to tell his story but Iris seemed not in the mood to listen so he left it at that. It had been what felt like a day since then and the gloomy feeling had disappeared, instead Iris was being childish and pestering Kid with jokes and dumb questions.
Suddenly the two felt shaking similar to an earthquake! "What is that?!" Kid shouted, alerted!
"Like hell I know! But I like the change!" Iris yelled in glee.

Inside another soul space was Nyx, half broken and only with her own thoughts keeping her company. She had long given up talking since no one would hear her. '
'How long has it been? It doesn't matter, I failed to protect the young master and now I'm stuck here...'
Nyx closed her eyes and left her body to float in the vast nothingness.
------------
Kid woke up with a groan, even out of his soul, he still felt pain in his head. "That is most likely where the soul is, so many debates figured out by one headache."
He began to study his surroundings and the first thing he noticed was that his clothes were different. 'Odd...' he thought but ignored it and continued looking. g, he was in a small room with a window, he was in a bed, and his suit was in a corner shut off.
Struggling to get up, Kid heard rustling behind the door,

Kid woke up with a groan, even out of his soul, he still felt pain in his head. "That is most likely where the soul is, so many debates figured out by one headache."
He began to study his surroundings and the first thing he noticed was that his clothes were different. 'Odd...' he thought but ignored it and continued looking, he was in a small room with a window, he was in a bed, and his suit was in a corner shut off.
Suddenly, Kid heard rustling behind the door! He struggled to get up as the door opened up, it was Cate and an older man "@$%#$@$." The older man spoke but Kid couldn't understand him. Cate seemed to notice Kid's look because she quickly fumbled in her ear "Almost forgot about this." She joked. She then gave the earpiece to the man.
He promptly put it on and cleared his throat, "So. You are the alien I have been told about." He spoke with authority.
"I am guessing that you don't meet any other races much to say such a derogatory word. That won't get you very far, especially since you are a man of a higher ranking." Kid told him with a glare
This shocked the man "I apologize, that was my fault. My name is General Kelvin Cohen, I am here to ask if you could meet someone of importance. It is up to you though." He then looked at Kid with a familiar look.
'No matter where you are, it seems that all races have similar expressions.' Kid thought "It is not a choice so I guess I agree. Also, my name is Kid Denote Origen, Sir Cohen." Kid finally got out of the bed and saluted by putting his fist to his chest.
Out of nowhere, Cate stole the earpiece from Cohen and studied Kid's body "Are you ok? You suddenly fell and had me worried!"
Kid smiled "I'm fine, a minor headache that's all. Your parental worrying makes me happy, you and my mom would get along quite well." He then began to feel homesick.
'Snap out of it! I will get home!' Kid thought. Out of nowhere, Cate started to comfort him "Are you sure you're ok?" She asked.
"I am fine, I have dealt with the vacuum of space. A teleportation mishap is nothing~" Kid smiled wryly.
Cate looked at him in astonishment before the general took the earpiece and cleared his throat. "So what time would you like to set the meeting?" He asked.
Kid thought for a moment before answering. "I guess now since I have the time, but first let me check up on my maid" He then tried to walk towards Nyx but tripped.
It was Cate that caught him "%#@#%@%##@!" She yelled in a firm expression. Kid looked at the general for a translation. He then answered, "She said that your body is still recovering and that you should rest until you are better."
'I have to learn this, the language barrier is a pain.' he thought. Kid then pointed at Nyx, Cate caught on and slowly helped him walk to the maid. He checked her pulse, temperature, and brain function. Some races could touch the temples and back of the neck to get a read on the electrical impulses, and Kid, had some of those races in his blood.
Kid frowned after checking 'Her physical body is fine but it seems like her brain is going crazy. My guess is that she is experiencing the same thing I was. If so then it must have been the teleportations doing, but why would it do so?' He thought for a moment before giving the thought up. 'No need to try and figure it out now, I will put it on the list though.'
The general saw him doing what he did and asked "What are you doing there young man?"
"Checking her pulse, temperature, and brain activity. She seems to be fine." Kid explained.
The general wanted to know how he could check brain activity but keep it for later. "If you are done, then let us go."
-------------------
The trip did not take very long but in Kid's eyes, it was extremely bumpy. "I see why Nyx would complain."
He took out another earpiece from the suit and gave it to Cate getting ready to leave. Before Kid left he put on his suit but kept his helmet off and placed it in his storage bracelet that his father gave him when he was young. This had scared Cate when she saw what happened and pestered him about it. "All it is is a simple space bracelet. I won't get into the details but basically it is a mixture of my science and my parents elemental powers." Kid finally told her after all her pestering 'Sometimes I think she could be a child!' In the car, she consistently asked questions that were mostly minor but every now and then embarrassing. 'The little maid and I will have a talk when she wakes up.' He thought.
As he exited the vehicle he noticed that they were in front of an average sized building, around 10 floors, the difference between this one and the rest was the fact that there weren't very many people going in and out of it. In fact the only people going in were Kid and the three humans with him.
'Hmm, I guess if you were to have an important meeting you would not want too many people around.'
"SO! Kid, this girl Soreen, is she cute?" Cate asked, trying to get Kid to blush but no luck.
"Yes, she is to be the most beautiful girl in our galaxy. I am lucky to have such a friend, but I still don't know why she walked up to me first." Kid smiled as he spoke of his best and only friend; Another pang of homesickness kicked in but this time Kid let it settle, he knew that he could use that to motivate him to find a way home.
Cate noticed the young boy's expression and stopped asking questions, 'It doesn't seem that Kid loves her but thanks of her as a good friend, maybe there is a chance.'
As the group walked in, an older man in his mid-fifties walked up to them and gave a short bow, "Greetings everyone, I believe the president is waiting for you all. So if you will follow me that would be great." He then proceeded to walk ushering them to follow him.
Once they arrived the butler opened the door for them, 'Huh, I guess they have servants too.' Kid thought.
Once the group reached their destination the butler let them in, "The president will be in here." The group entered and the first thing you would notice is all the screen behind a man sitting calmly in a chair.
The man smiled and the general, lieutenant, and Cate all saluted in respect. "At ease." The man Kid could only guess to be the president said.
The general smiled and spoke, "Hey old friend, how long has it been since we met? One, Two years?"
This caused the president to laugh, "Too long K!" He then pointed at the chairs in front of his desk, "Sit! Sit! I welcome all of you!" The president spoke joyfully.
They proceeded to sit in the chairs with the lieutenant still standing because of the lack of chairs. Kid bagan to study his surroundings and noticed that the president wasn't the only one in the room. In one corner were humans, one male another woman, with different metal tools 'Different types of guns I see.' In the other corner were three other humans, two men and one woman, in white coats. All of them had flat tools in their hands of various sizes and seemed to do different things. But what caught Kid's eye the most was the woman in front, all she had was a small device and was pointing it in his direction.
He continued to study the coat people while the president and general were talking. While Kid was doing this the woman started staring back with a smirk. This oddly caught him off guard, Kid then shyly looked away 'What was that? Why was I shy, I have felt the full energy of a tier III Player!?' He then shook his head and started to invest his attention to the president. The president was a dark skinned man with bright blue eyes, he seemed to be around his mid forties and was well toned. It was blatantly obvious that he was a handsome man with his slightly curly hair that had small grey streaks in it.
"So, your name is Kid Denote Origen? Nice name Kid," The president smiled, "My name is Lincoln Docs, you can call me President Doc if you want." The man said in a bright rich tone.
Kid stood up and saluted by putting his fist to his right side of his chest, "Hello president Doc, you are correct, my name is Kid Denote Origen first heir of the Origen family and third to the Denote family. I apologize for being rude but I was wondering why you brought me here? It couldn't have been just to get to know each other could it?" Kid asked in with a innocent face but if you look in his eyes you would be able to see intelligence right next to it.
The president laughed, "You got me. I did not ask you here just to see your face. No, it was because we were expecting you." This shocked the group! What did he mean? Was this planned? Clearing his throat he continued, "What I mean is we were expecting something like this to happen. You see those scientists in the corner there are from a very important foundation that mainly focus on keeping the people as a whole safe from all problems. At any cost." He said with a serious voice.
The woman suddenly walked up to Kid with one of the male scientists behind her holding a folded metal object. "Hello Kid, my name is professor Y. I am here to show you this." She then waved her hand and the man behind her opened the folded metal. Once open it showed a black screen that sputtered to life to show Kid several black outlines of people. After a moment of silence one of them spoke in a non gender specific voice, "Welcome Kid. To our home planet Earth."
