2 months have passed.
Nan continued her work diligently. With all the time rush, communication, the fights, the bloodshed, and tears. Nan managed to learn from her mistakes and adapt to each situation she has to face. Meanwhile, Din is also doing great. He gained more popularity and got better with his acting makes it kind of difficult to go out with him as they usually do. He didn't call or text Nan as he usually does and Nan assuming that he is busy with work. The last time they had a call, is when Din asked about Nan's doing on her day, then hung up, which Nan found it's a bit weird. She is usually the one who hung up first, not Din.
It was broad daylight after meeting on the office building. Nan stopped by to buy a cafe near the office and dozed off while stirring brown sugar after pouring it into her cup.
"Hey!" Someone tapped Nan's shoulder after calling her for a few times. It was Nam.
"Uh-huh? Yeah? What's up?" Nan surprised, she didn't expect would run into Nam.
"No, nothing. I just plan to greet you but you seem a bit off. Are you alright?"
"Ah, yeah. I'm alright, don't worry"
"Um... Nan… Can I have your number?"
"???"
"I look up to you, can I befriend with you?"
Nan thinks Nam was nice even with her way of asking is a bit weird but, "Sure, I'd love to!"
She leaves after we switch numbers. Nan came to think of it, it's been 3 months she's working on her project and she thought she already used to be around actors and actresses. It seems just yesterday she's a mere fangirl and now, an actress even asks to be her friend.
Her thoughts keep running, then come a slight memory of Din.
"I like you!"
Nan clearly remembers his voice, his trembling eyes, his facial expression, and how she felt back then. She made a decision logically in that state when she actually afraid, but happy with Din's feelings. Nan starts to feel a bit hard to breathe, her chest feels heavy seems something unfilled within her heart.
Nan thought she was too tired to be carried by her own feelings and decide to rest. She came back home, dropped her stuff right after locking the door, and threw herself to her lover (her bed). While lying down, she looked around her messy room and thought, "Haha I really enjoy this lifetime huh?" telling to herself. But, she felt something lacking.
"Haaaah… think I'll never know what it is," She took her phone from her cardigan pocket and scrolled on Instagram feeds. She finds one of her college friends posts a picture on a beach. Nan looked at the location and it's written, "Pattaya".
She went through her gallery and found Din's picture. "Even though the sunset was beautiful, Din completes this landscape," Nan smiled. She opened the drawer beside her bed and take a tiny box.
It was the necklace from Din. It may be too late, but this is the first time that Nan seeing the necklace closely. It has the shape of a four-leaf clover.
