Chapter 6 - Chapter Six

Enyo was once more in the forest with the Goddess. "I'm dead, aren't I?" she asked. "Yes and no." Enyo didn't want to die. "This is your awaking child." Enyo looked at the Goddess she looked sad. "What do you mean?" she asked. "The time for you to take your rightful place is at hand. All will bow at your feet. Never rule with fear young Enyo. Show kindness were others haven't." Enyo reached her hand out to her. The Goddess smiled, but it was the tear that fell from her eyes that Enyo saw. "Goddess wait."

Hunter felt how cold her skin was. "It's timeHunter, we must bury her." He heard his best friend and Bata say. "She can't begone," Hunter said. He stood as people came in the room. Turning to them all he was about to say something when he felt the mate bound forge once more. Turning he saw her open her eyes as warmth flooded her body. "Enyo." Her eyes were now brown with silver specks. She sat up causing everyone to gasp

She took the hand he offered to help her to her feet. She looked around. "Your Goddess has been reborn." Was all she said. Everyone could feel the power coming from her. She looked at Hunter. "I didn't know until just now. The Goddess told me. I had to die before I could be awakened." Hunter pulled her into his arms and for the first time, his whole kingdom saw their King cry. "I thought I had lost you." She leans back a little and kissed him. "I will never leave your side, my King."

Hunter picked her and walked to their floor. "Hunter?" he laid her down in bed and held her close to him. "I never want you to leave my arms again. I felt like my whole world had died with you." She placed a hand on his face. "How long was I?" "Four days. Four long lonely days. Enyo." She kissed him. "I know. I promise I know." They stayed that way for days. "We never found the maid that did this to you." Enyo laughed. "You never will. It was the Goddess doing what needed to be done."

The next morning, she woke up still in Hunter's arms. "Morning my Queen." She smiled at him. "We have to train today Hunter the war is still coming." He knew she was right and dragged himself out of bed. As they walked into the training yard, she waved to the head trainer who had become her friend. "I wish to spar with you my King." she joked even added a mock bow to him. When he was knocked on his butt for the fifth time he looked at her. "What's wrong my king can't you beat a girl." She was challenging him again in front of his people. "Enyo." He growled out.

When she let out a fake yawn then looked at him. "I grow tired of this fight. Is there no one that can give me a challenge?" Hunter stood up and walked towards her. "Enyo." She turned to him. "What can I help you with besides teaching you to actually fight?" Hunter saw the small smile in the corner of her lips. "Why must you talk to me like this woman?" he stalked her.

Enyo shifted and took off her white wolf was fast. Hunter shifted and ran after her. The two were playing and having fun with there wolves. Everyone watching couldn't help the smile that came to them. There Alpha was back to himself and they once more had there Luna.

They stood side by side as their wolfs looked at the setting sun. "It's time to head back Enyo." They headed home then shifted before going inside to make dinner. She was sitting on the counter as he made stuffed cheese chicken. "So, you are the Goddess reborn into wolf form, am I getting this right?" Hunter asked. "Yes, her powers are now mine. She told me the fate of all her children now rests with me." She let out a sigh. "What is it Baby?" she looked up and saw concern in his eyes. "It's a lot of pressure. What if I mess up or make the wrong choice? What if I doom us all?" Hunter put the chicken in the oven then walked over to her. "If the Goddess believes in you then you should as well. I know you will do what's right Enyo. You are as smart as you are beautiful. That and you're not fighting alone. You have me and our pack. You also have your family."

Enyo went to take a shower. When she was done, she was sitting at the window and never heard Hunter come in with dinner. He looked at her as the glow from the moon hit her and it was like magic, she looked beautiful. "Enyo." She turned to look at him. "Dinner is ready come sit in bed with me" she followed him to bed and sat next to him. The two ate as they watched tv.

He could see her worry when she would stare off at times. "Enyo just follow your heart." He would tell her, but she starting to get stressed with all the meetings. Hunter, I want to go see my family for a little bit." Hunter made the planes and the next day they left to go see her family. Hunter prayed this would help ease her mind.
