Only moments earlier, it was Stella with whom I was having a stare me down contest. Now, I found myself getting lost in Rafael's eccentric blue eyes. My heart was still in my throat, though, the little venture to Stella's at Zone C4 helped me calm a bit. I was no longer that unstable, regaining my control over my emotions.
Gradually, I ended up telling her the bit about me and Rafael giving each other a silent treatment which she simply rolled her eyes at, telling me that it was normal. A little bit childish, she added, but still normal.
I had no idea how to feel about that. I played nonchalant when she had said it. Truth be told? I still felt uncertain about what to feel right now.
