MARY
It wasn't surprising. Mary Earle had thought. She got stood up. Again.
Aside from needing the comfort food she was craving after the day she had at La Boutique, Mary was supposed to be meeting with her date approximately about an hour ago if he had actually showed up.
"You could have at least informed me, idiot," she muttered, blowing out an exasperated sigh. This would be the last time. She promised. She won't agree to any more blind dates, Ariell, her best friend, would ever set.
The last one was the same. She had waited way too long but the guy never came.
"All these guys are bloody idiots," closing her laptop, she carefully tucked it inside the carry on bag she had. Throwing her head back, she let out another sigh, realizing she had wasted her afternoon and evening for nothing.
Finally deciding to head home, she got up accidentally knocking the last dreg of the drink she had earlier onto her blouse.
