I felt like I woke up from a terrible dream. The worst kind. This was what I was thinking when I looked at myself in the mirror.
That missing piece? I never figured out what it was. I'm not even certain if I could still find out what it was.
But do you want to know something ridiculous?
Too many people believed in Marcus Zephanie. They believed in him that they were ready to blindly follow him wherever he would lead them to. Whether he'd drive them towards their deaths, it wouldn't matter.
He was an idealist. That was true. But what they don't know was that his ideas have their equivalent sacrifices they know nothing about.
