I shook away the ridiculous thought. Although, I don't think it was ridiculous though. What if it was bound to happen? How can I stop it?
I shook my head. I think that was not the right question. The right one should be: will I be able to stop it?
There was a high chance that I might not. But was there a way to save humanity? Maybe. If I would come to know what Marcus Zephanie was planning, I might be able to do something and stop the inevitable no matter what it would be.
It was a big 'if'. Right now, there was nothing I could do but hope for a miracle.
