He watched from afar as Marcus Zephanie checked the vitals for his daughter's clone. She was the fortunate one out of many who had survived and seemed to suit Marcus Zephanie's liking.

He had lost count of how many there had been before her and he watched it happen all the time.

To him, Marcus appeared to have been desperate to find a cure for his beloved daughter. However, he needed time and he needed her to be by his side while doing so. In order to cover his tracks, he decided to create a clone, the perfect carbon copy for his daughter. 

He watched all of it take place from afar. There were those times when Marcus was so sure that he had succeeded only to find fault with the clone later on.

He watched, he watched, and never cared until her. He watched Marcus Zephanie train her and get her ready for the real world.
