'Tell me, Rafael, tell me something I don't know and I promise, I'll tell you my secrets. I'll spill everything. One, by one.'
'One… by… one…'
I gasped awake, wiping at the beads of sweat that had formed on my face, my breathing was heavy. Even though the room was cold, I could feel the heat spread all over my body with that memory-dream.
"One by one," I muttered. The mysterious woman's face flashed in my mind's eye, her voice echoing through my head.
Secrets? What secrets did she mean and why, why did I feel like I was desperately seeking to unveil those secrets which she had mentioned?
What did she know that seemed too important? Who was she anyway? Who was she in my life really?
Unable to fall back asleep, I threw the covers off of me.
This no memory thing was beginning to piss me off. I pinched the bridge of my nose, throwing myself back onto the bed right after.
Why, why can't I remember anything?
