I was rooted to the ground, my heart was hammering so hard against my chest. Only a few moments ago, I was the only one who was looking right at her, however, right now, she too was staring right back at me, her golden-brown eyes halting me on the spot.
The world around me seemed to fall away. Suddenly, my head started to ache as memories tried to enter my mind. However, something seemed to be blocking it, causing the pain to erupt inside my head.
Falling on my knees, unable to bear the searing pain, I placed both of my hands over my ears, as if trying to drown out some noise that was not there.
"Hey," a gentle voice caught my attention, abruptly making me forget about the pain. "Are you alright sir?"
