Only when Ash has left the room do I start the struggle of trying to put my sweatpants on. And let me tell you, it's not an easy task. It must have taken me more than a minute because, when I finally make my presence in the living room, the conversation between Tamara and Ash have seen to be going on for a while.
Tamara is in the middle of discussing something using fancy medical words that I can't seem to understand, but Ash nods thoughtfully, so he must know what Tamara is talking about. I sit down on my futon next to Olivia, who looks as if she is as confused as I am. Her lids droop low over he eyes and she looks about ready to fall asleep any second.
"You can sleep in that bedroom if you're tired," I tell her.
She seems startled as if she didn't realise I've been sitting next to her this whole time. "Oh, no, that's okay," she whispers drowsily, "I can't leave Tamara here alone."
"Do you think we're going to do something to her?" I tease.
