Caleb saw a young couple come out of an apartment a few doors down as he was on his way to the apartment he and Tamara were staying in. It was early morning—or, at least, what everyone assumed was early morning. Time didn't really seem to work the same way at the moment. What felt like early morning could have easily been mid noon, or even late evening. With the sun hardly showing itself these days, time didn't seem to exist anymore.
The young couple looked bashful as they looked up to find Caleb studying them. Undoubtedly, they had just done something they weren't supposed to be doing during working hours, in a community apartment where more than two people were now staying in.
"Sup, bro?" the teenage boy, barely older than sixteen by the looks of it, greeted Caleb with a lopsided grin. The boy probably thought Caleb was going to congratulate his for whatever achievement he thought he achieved in the apartment with his partner.
