"He what?"
"I found him in his bed with a knife in his hand, right as he was about to cut his wrist. I don't know what I would have done had I found him after he'd done whatever he was about to do, would have freaked, probably." Jessica's face visibly pales as she tells the gruesome story.
"What happened to him?" Tamara asks, her voice small but just enough so I am able to hear.
"He's still in there, we've had to keep a close eye on him and make sure we don't leave anything sharp unattended."
"Is he still… hurting?"
"No, Ash decided to give him morphine in the end, so he doesn't have the need to kill himself. But it didn't work, he's still talking about his dog and the ravine, still sometimes bangs his head on the side of his cot. Honestly, I don't think Ash knows what to do now, he just keeps telling me to look after him and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid."
