Chapter 128 - Olivia Holton. The Act.

Waking up in Tamara and Caleb's spare bedroom, I have to blink my eyes a few times and let the blood flow to my brain before the confusion clears. I know right away that it must have been no more than a few hours that I slept, my body doesn't feel as well-rested as it would if I were to sleep a full night's sleep of eight hours and, in addition, it doesn't look like the candle height on the nightstand has decreased much. I chose not to blow it out before I went to sleep. The darkness is suffocating now, it makes me conscious of the fact that just beyond the glass of the bedroom's window is a thick deadly fog that will kill me if I so much as let a sliver of air in. At least by the lonely candlelight, it shows me if the room has been breached by the murky outside air. 

"Livvy?" I hear a small voice from the crack in the doorway. Tamara is standing behind the door, peeking her blue eyes through the crack to see if I am awake.
