Eva walked out of the building and headed towards the Dorm buildings. It was just a few minutes away from the school, she saw a huge gate and some guards, she went towards them and they asked if she was visiting someone but she said that she was new and was going to start living there so they asked for her student ID. After they took a look at it one of the guards went inside the small office boot and after awhile he came out.
"Alright please wait here, your dorm head will come pick you up"
"Oh…alright"
3: 20 pm
She waited for some time and finally she saw a person exit the gate and talk to the guards and then turn her head to me and walked towards me
"You must be Eva!" She said. She had a very sweet voice, short bushy brown hair, some freckles on her face and bright green eyes
"Come on now, follow me" She said as she led the way and Eva followed her from behind.
"The name's Mia, nice to meet you"
"Nice to meet you too"
"So, you transferred here only today?"
"Yes, I did. It's bit of a sudden, so sorry for the trouble"
"Oh no no it's totally fine, I was just a bit shock when I heard a new student would be joining the school in the middle of the year. The rules said we couldn't….but I guess it was alright for you especially after that horrible incident"
"Ah…y-yes" Eva said as she looked down
"Oh I'm so sorry! I shouldn't have said that all of a sudden. Please don't be sad" Mia suddenly realizing what she said panicked and looked at Eva.
"No it's alright. I'm fine really"
"I really didn't mean it I'm so sorry"
"Really it's oka-" Eva suddenly stopped; she looked at what was in front of her. There were rows of buildings, with the same design but on the top walls there were different markings on them with the first being a letter and the second being a number, the buildings huge spaces between them.
They walked closer to their building and it was huge. It had a very modernized architecture with black paint on the walls and more huge windows.
"Shall we?" Mia said as she smiled and looked at Eva
"Alright" Eva said as she took a deep breath and followed Mia inside.
The inside was amazing, it was very spacious, the walls were white and on the right there was a big living room with a sofa and an arm chair, a fire place, a flat screen TV on the wall with a center table and a fluffy white rug underneath. The kitchen on the other hand was on the left; it had a counter table with a sink, a big fridge, some shelves, microwave and just filled with kitchen utensils. The floor was made of white marble tiles and at the end of the hallway there was some stairs that led to all the rooms and it had a landing. It looked and was very clean, fresh and organized. Eva stood by the doorway and looked around.
"Come on in, don't be shy now" Mia said and Eva entered the living room with her. There were already some people inside and she saw some familiar faces too.
"Hey! Eva you're in this dorm too?" The girl sitting on the sofa stood up, it was Erna. There was even Lukas and Clare just hanging out. There was also a boy sitting on the arm chair reading a book, he had really blond hair and Elf ears.
"Ya, I did. I'm glad you guys are here too!" Eva laughed
"Oh, you two know each other?" Mia asked
"Yes, I met her, Lukas and Clare today" After she said that she looked around the room
"Is Maru not here?"
"Oh ya, he's in a different dorm sadly" Erna replied
"Well then, that's really nice that you guys already know each other. Here let me introduce you to the others then, that boy there is Leon" Mia said as she looked at the boy and coughed to get his attention. The boy looked up for a moment
"Hey" And went back to reading his book.
"Ugh, sorry about that, he really doesn't talk much. But he's really good so don't worry"
"Ah...okay"
"Umm…Elena and Hiro was also suppose to be here but I wonder where they are"
"Hiro is busy with his spells in his room again" Leon said out of nowhere.
"Oh okay then and let me guess, Elena hasn't come back yet?" Mia asked
"Yup" Everyone replied in a bored and tired tone.
"Huh…I swear I hope she won't get into any trouble again, the night classes are already going to start soon. She's getting late"
"Don't worry, she'll be fine" Lukas told Mia
"Huh ya right, not after what happened the last time" Mia replied in an annoyed tone.
"Um…..Can I go to my room and check it out?" Eva said looking awkwardly at Mia.
"Oh my, I'm so sorry I totally forgot. Yes yes of course, here is your key and the door will have your name written on it" Mia took out the keys from her pocket and gave it to Mia.
"Thanks, I'll go and change"
After she said that Eva went up stairs and started to search for her room and she finally saw a door with a black, metal sort of material with her name written in white. She used the key and opened the door. The was big, white walls, carpet floors, a bed near the window, a study area right next to it and a closet on the corner of the room. It was really clean and her luggage was kept right next to the bed on the floor, she kept her school bag on the chair and opened the luggage and started to organize her stuff.
"You're being too carefree, you better not ruin anything"
"Oh shut up, I know exactly what I'm doing…. and things already went great for us before too right? So just leave this to me"
4:10 pm
After Eva was done unpacking and changing, she plopped herself onto the bed and took a moment to go through everything that happened today. She smiled and rolled around the bed and was just happy that everything went well today and she was able to meet new people and make friends after such a long time.
"I wish it could just stay like this" she said to herself and her smile slowly turned into a frown and then suddenly there was a knock on the door.
"Hey Eva"
"C-coming!" She got up and opened the door and saw Mia standing outside.
"Yes?" Eva asked
"Oh, aren't you hungry? Come on its dinner time"
"Oh, alright" And after she said that Mia smiled and walked back down.
Eva didn't even notice she was hungry and as she was closing the door, she saw something shadowy on the edge of the bed and she slammed the door shut. She stood outside the door for awhile and shook her head and headed downstairs. She saw the others already in the kitchen dining table and eating.
"Come on now, we left a seat for you" Mia said and pointed at the empty seat at the other end of the table and so Eva went and sat down.
"Here you go, eat up" Mia came and placed a plate filled with food onto the table.
"Thank you" Eva bowed her head and then looked at the plate in front of her. She really didn't know what was what but everything looked delicious, so she grabbed a knife and a fork and started to eat. She took a bite of the food and it was heavenly, it was so delicious and she started to eat everything on the plate.
"Hey, wizzy pass me more of that Hu-star meat!" A girl with wolf life ears shouted
Eva paused as she was about to have the next bite
"Stop calling me wizzy! My name is Hiro you fleabag!" The smaller boy replied
"HEY WHO YOU CALLING FLEABAG!" The girl stood up and pointed her fingers at the boy. They two started to argue and Mia tried to stop them with the others just ignored them and ate their dinner. Eva suddenly stood up and the chair fell down making a loud 'Thud' sound and everyone looked at her. She had her mouth covered and had a disgusted look on her face.
"E-Eva you alright? So sorry they-"
And before Mia could finish her sentence Eva ran upstairs and they heard a loud slam.
"Look what you did! Now you two better behave or else" Mia warned the two and ran upstairs to search for Eva. She reached upstairs she looked to the left and saw that the bathroom door was opened, so she went and open the door slowly and came in and saw Eva throwing up into the toilet
"Eva! What happened?!Are you okay?" Mia ran towards Eva and patted her back and helped her.
"What happened?!" She asked again.
"Ugh...Ah…I'm fine, don't worry"
"I don't think you are, what's wrong? Did you eat something bad? Was there something in the food you ate just now?"
"Ah, no no…..it-it's just that, I really can't have Hu-star meat" Eva laughed awkwardly and rubbed her head.
"O my Goodness you should have said so, I was really worried for a moment there" Mia let out a sigh in relief.
"Ah-ha sorry about that"
"It's okay, just…just tell me stuff like that before anything like this happens okay"
"Yes I will, sorry" Eva then stood up and rinsed her mouth and her and Mia walked back down where everyone was. They were in the kitchen cleaning everything up so even Mia and she went over to help them. And as Eva was collecting the plates from the table the two people from earlier came to her
"You say it"
"No, you say it"
The two hit each other with their elbows and whispered.
"Yes?" Eva asked.
"W-we're sorry about earlier, are you okay?" The boy said
"Ya, don't worry the two of us usually just act like that every time" The girl said with a big smile and got elbowed by the boy
"Ow" she whispered
Eva started to laugh "no no no, I'm so sorry, you guys didn't do anything. I just got a little sick so I had to run up to the bathroom"
The two looked at each other and let out a sigh of relief
"Thank God, we thought it was because of us" The boy said "I'm Hiro by the way, nice to meet you. Mia said you would come today" The boy said in a kind voice
"I'm Elena, nice to meet you too and also I do NOT have fleas" She added
Eva laughed "Good to know. It's nice to meet you too, please call me Eva"
"Alright now, can we save the intro for later and get to cleaning first" Leon said as he came in between them and gave them a look with made the three of them get back to work.
5:15 pm
They were all hanging out in the living room and watching TV and talking, when one of them changed the channel and it showed the news and the person said:
"It was a horribly tragedy and many of the people are still devastated from the loss of the countless lives that was taken during the Baywo-"
Then suddenly they turned off the TV and sat there in silence for awhile and looked at Eva as she sighed
"It's alright guys, I really don't care about it anymore. I'm just tired of everyone acting like this all the time something that topic comes up. Can you just act normal…please?"
"But it was really ba-"
"Then, can you tell us about what actually happened?"
"LEON!" Mia looked at him
"Sure" Eva answered
"No, Eva you really don't have to" Mia told Eva
"No, it's fine. I'm okay with it" Eva looked at Mia with a gentle smile on her face.
"We-well…if you're okay with it" Mia said. Then everyone sat closer and listened to Eva. She took a deep breath and opened her eyes.
"I really don't know or remember much of what happened that day but, this is all i know so listen well. This is the story….The story of the Tragedy of Bayworth Academy"
