Although he looked cool, as he left Adam was cursing the game. While he had been killing his enemies, he had been picking up their equipment, and he was getting excited because getting 10 000 players' loot represented a huge amount of wealth.
However, in all his excitation, he had forgotten one thing, a very important thing. How exactly was he supposed to carry 10 000 pieces of equipment?!
When he had taken about 500 items, he found out he couldn't take any more, and after checking he discovered his inventory was full. Moreover, he couldn't even ask the NPCs to take equipment for him, so he could only take the 500 or so items he had.
Of course, he replaced the initial 500 equipments by the best on the battlefield, but even if they were the best, they would fetch a lot of money… With a distraught face, Adam left the battle ground, but wiped out that expression of his face quickly because this was still a victory.
Once they reached a safe distance away, Adam stopped and looked at the crowd following him. They were still split in 8 groups, and there didn't seem to be any loss.
His eight guild members for the moment came to him, and Johan said "That was a bloody awesome fight Master!"
He was clearly excited, and so were the others as the nodded in accordance. Adam smiled and said "That was only the first fight of many. But let's talk about those men and women you brought. Are you sure they are safe?
Eddy nodded and said "All of them have been adventurers for their whole lives, we worked with them for a few times in the past. Also, they are all B Classes."
Adam said "When you said you knew of candidates for the guild, I thought you meant ten or twenty, not more than two hundreds… but it's better this way. You didn't take any Iron Ranks?"
Eddy shook his head and replied "I told the potential B Classes to come at Ember when they rank up, and if they are indeed B Classes then we will accept them. If we had seen any Iron with a potential above B Class, we would have taken them, but they are too rare."
Adam nodded and said "From now on, the eight of you will become the Division Leaders, and your position in the guild will only be below me. I grant you the privilege to accept members into the guild. You can also grant the privilege to trustworthy subordinates, so you can still have enough time to train yourselves. Any questions?"
They shook their heads, so Adam nodded to them before jumping on Neith and departing.
After that incredible battle, people all around the world talked about it. Be it the lowest ranked players or even the members of Super Guilds, everyone wanted to know the enigma known as Valiant Heart better.
After all, this player had just come out of nowhere, he never appeared in any other game, and the martial community never ever heard of him.
It wasn't hard to find his real identity, since he didn't change his facial features, and although the common people were surprised to see someone so young had become so strong, the ones truly shocked were the top guilds in the world.
Even among Super Guilds, people who opened the Gate of Limit were rare, and the few who did were mostly old cultivators who had cultivated for decades, or even centuries!
But now, a twenty years old brat had already opened three of them?!
Their first reaction was to think this was just an old cultivator who managed to keep his young looks, but with their connections they were able to quickly check through the government Adam's whole life, and he really was 20 years old!
But no matter how everyone reacted, Adam didn't care about them, and just played. Time passed quickly, and soon a few days went by.
It had already been a week since the game was released, and the game made a sensation worldwide. For the first day, 200 million players connected worldwide. This was already a record, but the reason there weren't more people was because most people hesitated, as they didn't know whether this was really as good as the ads and rumors said.
But now that the game had been released for a week, multiple clips had been released online, let's plays had been realized for multiple beginner villages, and the game proved itself to be amazing to the world.
Now, the player base had climbed to 1 billion, and it was still increasing. And although the many tests were a big reason for the increase in players, another was Adam himself.
First was the Battle of Rosewatch, which was quite amazing on its own, a battle involving so many players, so early in the game, it was a never before seen situation. But of course, this wasn't the only clip like that, Epoch was a whole world, and so there had been a few other situations similar to this one, although not all of them went as well.
However, what really set Adam apart from the rest of the world, was the Battle of Sunflower Valley. Adam displayed for the first time the power of a peak expert, and it was just too good to watch.
Some people had also turned the clips of pure carnage into clips with music, and some added special effects, which turned Adam from a one man army into the bravest of heroes.
Then, Adam's real identity was revealed, and showed to the world that everyone, even the unluckiest ones, could achieve something big in the game. This pushed many people to start playing the game too.
Adam was already extremely surprised at how he became a celebrity online, and how people turned him into a brave hero when they were cursing him a few days prior for his arrogance.
But he wasn't at the end of his surprises, because something he never expected crashed into his world. Gaia Inc, the company that had created the game, had decided to make an incredible marketing move.
They announced worldwide that to award Adam for his efforts, they would pay for his brother's surgery, and make sure he would be treated by the best experts worldwide.
Since Valiant Heart's identity had been revealed, people had been pitying Adam for his brother's condition, so Gaia Inc making a step forward and offering to help his brother, it put them in the good grace of many, many people.
Some people thought that Valiant Heart would refuse, because of the arrogance he showed when faced with an army of a thousand players, thinking he would prefer to save his brother with his own efforts.
However, the moment he learned about this, Adam didn't even hesitate for a second to accept. He had pride, yes, but this was his dear brother's life at stake, and the earliest he was treated, the best it would be.
And even if his pride had been so big he would have refused, his parents would have hit him until he accepted, so the choice was easily made.
When his parents learned of this, they were overjoyed, and the whole family went to see Matt, Adam's brother, to tell him the good news.
When they reached there though, as they were about to enter the hospital, a middle aged man leaning against an expensive car said "Mister Adam Collins."
They all turned their heads, and saw the car wasn't just an expensive car, because there was Gaia Inc logo on it. Adam looked at his parents and said "Go first and tell Matt the news, I'll be there in a second."
They both nodded and entered the hospital, while Adam approached the man. The man, who obviously was the chauffeur, opened the door behind and said "Please enter."
Adam nodded, and entered the car. Inside the car was a beautiful woman, who looked like she was in her thirties, dressed in a blue and green dress.
Adam easily recognized her as Sofia Davis, CEO of Gaia Inc.
