Chapter 87 - Fine, I Shall Help You

On his way to the Dayang's Kanya, Miguel met with the bunch of Malpi, Aen, and Talto. This time they are accompanied by Yagnos.

Seeing them this free, Miguel wondered "How come these guys seemed that they always have nothing to do? Aren't they an Alipin?"

"Young Master! You are here... We are just about to return to the Alipin's Grounds." As usual, it was Aen who greeted him cheerfully.

At each of their backs, except Yagnos, they all have baskets hanging and is filled with fishes to the brim.

When Miguel stared at their catch, Malpi hurriedly explained, "Thanks to your genius invention, Young Master... some of the tribesmen who are skilled with wood crafting created a duplicate of your fishing rod. This made our job easier to accomplish, they just distributed them to us today."

With an expression full of awe, to the expense of displaying his uneven teeth, Malpi praised Miguel as he beamed a smile.

Miguel simply nodded as he shifts his gaze to Yagnos. He doesn't know how he should approach Yagnos since it was not him whom he previously met. It was Argus.

Fortunately, Yagnos strikes the conversation first, "Greetings to you Argus, just like what you instructed I trained these three a bit. Also, if you are not that preoccupied with your Apprenticeship, might as well join us in our secret training grounds. We have recruited a few. After welcoming by these three, I decided to settle here."

Standing with his bare top naked, Yagnos is a great example of a handsome warrior. He is the tallest among them, towering Argus with a perfectly sculpted chin coupled with a smile. The girls from the other side could not help but throw flirtatious looks and gestures towards Yagnos.

Miguel at that moment had the tendency to compare himself. "Well, this Argus is actually handsome but he has to experience puberty first. Such childish features..."

"Alright, where should I find the rest of you then?" Miguel asked, throwing away his envious gaze.

"Just look for us in the granary, we'll probably be there threshing the corns, or if not just look for us in the cornfield." Yagnos briefly answered, he placed down two baskets of fishes he was carrying at his back.

Once again, Miguel including the bunch of Alipins marvelled at the sight of Yagnos's perfectly sculpted muscles and torso. Miguel inwardly exclaimed... "Hmph. My previous body is definitely better than him. This body looked too weak... Which reminds me, I should train it later."

"Alright, I'll find you all again tomorrow." Bidding them another goodbye, Miguel proceeded to walk towards the Dayang's Kanya.

Just like the Saman's Kanya, he is greeted by a group of warriors that are patrolling the area. Some tension also had arisen but thankfully, the trusted token came into good use.

Presenting the token to the guards, they immediately let him pass through.

"Our Ladyship, Dayang Haya, you have a guest." A Sulgosa knelt and informed the Dayang of Miguel's arrival.

"Dayang Haya, this is me Mig—I mean Argus." Almost slipping into revealing his real name, Miguel slurred, and the surrounding servants including Wagu Atubang snickered. They didn't like the way Miguel conducted himself.

Realizing this, Miguel adjusted himself. In a tone that is not loud or low, "Greetings, Our Ladyship Dayang Haya, I have come here today under the orders of Elder Shana..." Miguel said, as he lightly bowed his head.

"Arise, Argus. Speak, what is the order of Elder Shana." Dayang Haya courteously replied as she gestured Miguel.

But looking at the Argus in front of her, she recalled the incident she had with him, she was really caught off guard. Now that the same Argus who shamelessly pulled her into his arms appeared again, she tried guarding herself. She's wary that this kid might do something unexpected again.

Miguel had a complicated feeling facing the Dayang. He wished that the veil hiding the Dayang's face could fall again so he could witness the face of his beloved wife once again.

"I'll be needing the leaf of the moringa tree. The Elder needed it so she could make some tea."

Draped in a red shawl with golden embroidery and intricate design, Dayang Haya displayed herself gallantly as what she usually projected herself. Her demeanor oozed with such majesty and due to her veil which toppled a mysterious hint to her overall appearance like icing on the cake, she appeared as if an unreachable goddess.

She raised her hand and gestured to the nearest servant as she whispered her instructions to her.

"Take extra precautions with this kid, I don't trust him. After taking what he needs don't entertain him further."

Receiving the whisper of Dayang Haya, the servant lightly bowed. She then gestured Miguel to follow her.

While leaving the spacious hall where the Dayang received her guests, Miguel cast a longing look at the Dayang's figure.

"Wait a bit, I shall return with vigor the next time we meet." Whispering in his heart, he left the Dayang's Kanya and proceeded to the orchard where the moringa tree is located.

Outside the Kanya, Miguel is welcomed with the graceful swaying of different kinds of plants and patches of flowers in varying kinds and colors. Hooked and awed, Miguel wore a dumbfounded expression on his face, this is the first time he entered the Royal Garden.

He is utterly surprised, time and time again, whenever he thought that he had seen everything to see. The things he is currently seeing was never recorded in the books or classified files in his previous world or his previous life.

There are many things to look forward to, rather than being caught up in the plan of Argus's revenge. Such as the beautiful cascading bushes and leaves that fluttered through the wind.

Caught up in a momentary bliss, Miguel had temporarily forgotten all his worries. Such sceneries had reminded him, the beauty of life the joy of appreciating the view. He breathed deeply and the scent of the set flowers permeated his nostrils as if reinvigorating his weakened self.

"Even with all of this beauty, I know how wicked a human heart is..." But recalling how he was betrayed, the temporary feeling of warmth lulled.

A thirst for vengeance erupted in his veins, he remembered that Argus kind of had the same situation as him and at that moment, Miguel has firmly decided to help Argus.

"Fine, I shall help you. From now on your business is my business."
