Chapter 77 - III. Captives

When the attacker could be seen through the dim light, Ivory didn't look. Ivory was sure it would be someone she least wanted to see. Lily; however, was braver, and her reflexes kicked in and caused her to react.

Lily jumped and turned as the culprit made themselves known.

"Harley!" Lily cried.

Harley smirked as her face shadowed against the light: "What a pleasant surprise, little sis." Harley walked into the middle of the room as Ivory screamed for Harley to get off her. "You sure are jumpy, little one," Harley glared at Ivory, who stopped moving.

"Let Ivory go," Lily sneered.

"Why don't you make me? You do think you stand a chance."

"I know you killed Lucky and Hawks!" Lily cried. "You know that Lucky and I love one another!"

Harley rolled her eyes as Ivory tried prying the tan arm away. "Relax, will you, Lily? Of all guys, you chose Lucky?"

"I thought you liked him?"

"Not particularly," came the bored reply.

Lily stomped over. "Why Hawks?"

"Blue killed Hawks," Harley smirked. "Why don't you ask him?" Harley leered down the hallway.

The younger girls stared at each other with widened eyes. There was a stomp, and Lily and Ivory looked down the hallway, seeing the familiar gang leader.

"Blue?" Lily gasped.

Ivory felt like peeing her pants. Blue's presence was a shock, but also terrifying. She wondered if she and Lily would die.

Then, Lily sneered and stomped over to him.

"Lily! Lily, stop! Fighting won't help us!" Ivory turned to Harley. "Harley, please, stop her!"

Harley shrugged. She seemed entertained, to say the least.

"You killed Hawks," Lily began, "You'll pay for your crimes!"

"Let's see if you're brave enough to hit me, little girl," Blue taunted.

"Lily, ignore Blue. Blue wants you to hit him!" Ivory warned.

"I'm tired of Blue doing this to people! I'm liberating us, Ivory! I'm going to teach him a lesson!"

Blue stood with crossed arms. The gang leader seemed bored.

"Harley," Ivory began, "Wouldn't you do anything for your sister?"

"Who do you think takes care of her?" Harley asked. "Yes, but if Lily gets herself killed, that's her concern," Harley chuckled. "Watch," her grip tightened.

"I'm tired of you being such a punk, Blue!" Lily roared.

Ivory's eyes widened in shock. She knew nothing would end well.

"Then do something about it, Lily, or shut the hell up. You're wasting my time," Blue said.

Ivory gasped as Lily went to punch Blue.

Blue had quick reflexes and grabbed Lily's fist. Lily's eyes widened as she observed how her punch didn't hit the gang leader. Blue tightened his grip on her fist and pushed her back. Lily flew thirty feet to Harley's feet as Ivory winced at her painful landing. The altercation was so quick that Lily had no time to scream when she flew back and landed roughly.

Harley quickly grabbed Lily, and her free arm went around the younger girl's neck. "I suggest that if you don't want a broken jaw, you behave," Harley threatened her sister.

Blue smirked at Lily, "How've you been, squirt?"

Ivory considered Blue a bully. She was beyond furious, but she was so petite that Blue could injure her a lot easier than he'd hurt Lily. Ivory knew that she didn't stand a chance physically. All she could do was stay silent.

"Shut the fuck up!" Lily snarled.

Harley removed her arm from Lily's grasp and hook punched her. Lily fell to the floor, crying out in pain. Ivory felt adrenaline rush through her; she feared for her life.

"You're useless, Lily. I only keep you around because I need Harley," Blue laughed. He looked down at her, "If you don't want a bullet through your head, you better keep it quiet."

Lily sneered, but stayed silent as Harley glared at her.

Ivory noted the blood oozing from Lily's lip.

Ivory was quiet as the gang leader's stare made its way to her. He leered. "It's been a while, Ivory. I hope you enjoyed your vacation."

"Yes, I did," came the reply. Ivory tried to hide the nervousness in her voice. Ivory retained her body from shaking. "Why? Why did you kill Hawks?"

"Hawks wasn't as loyal as he claimed," Blue said.

"What did he do that was disloyal?"

"That isn't important," Blue replied.

It made Ivory's blood boil when Blue would pull his sociopathic massacres and left her without answers. Ivory felt that everyone else knew his reasons except her. Ivory wondered why Blue didn't trust her.

"Blue, how come you don't trust me?" Ivory asked as Harley's grip remained.

"Who said I didn't trust you? That conversation isn't relevant now, Ivory. There are other things I must worry about right now."

"You killed Hawks because she loves him!" Lily accused, groaning in pain while clutching her jaw.

"Ha! Hawks, love? Hawks doesn't know what love is," Blue leered at Ivory, who knew that he wanted a reaction out of her. "You kids have quite the imagination."

Ivory and Lily wept.

Then, Harley removed her arm from Ivory's neck as Blue grabbed the young woman. Ivory and Lily quickly realized that they were going to be abducted and gripped onto one another. Unfortunately, the older members were too strong and succeeded in pulling the younger girls away from one another.

"You know where base number four is located?" Blue asked Harley, who nodded. "You and Lily will remain there; Spike and Red will remain here, base two, until further notice."

Blue held Ivory from under her arms and walked off.

Once the initial shock wore off, Lily and Ivory screamed for one another.

"Lily!"

"Ivory!"

Ivory tried to wrestle Blue's grip, but he kept walking.

"Harley, let me go!" Ivory heard Lily shout.

Ivory began kicking her legs and twisting her body. She tried but failed escaping Blue's strong grip.

"Relax," Blue wrapped an arm under her, and picked her up.

"No! I won't let you do this," Ivory freed herself, but Blue threw her over his shoulder.

Ivory looked to see that Lily and Harley were gone. Ivory felt her heart tighten, everything happened so quickly that she couldn't process everything that took place.

Blue ran out through the back and walked towards a mobile home and a car as Ivory struggled against his grip. Never did Ivory think this whole situation would take place. All Ivory knew was that she and Lily were on vacation and now, it seemed like another police scare was taking place. Hawks and Lucky would never betray Blue, that was what Ivory believed. If so, she wondered why they were dead.

Ivory usually felt anxious when she was around Blue, but nothing could explain her current feelings of fear. Ivory wondered what would happen and if she would die like Hawks and Lucky. Ivory was too numb to move; she felt deep down that she and the psychotic gang leader had this strange bond, and nothing could explain why.
