In the middle of an area of run-down buildings stood a white 50 meters tall building and around thousands of meters square wide. It had a systematic square design covering the outer of the building. Numerous Ageha guards were strolling around the building, armed with black-guns with a slight blue LED blinking called 'Judgeminator.' Over a few miles away from the building stood high walls approximately around 5 meters as if it's a defense tower, spread across circling the building. Instead of the high walls, one of the corners is covered with thick black iron gates for the building's entrance.
Far away diagonally from that building, a small 3-story run-down building used to be a school before the disaster happened. The yard was full of iron scrapes and brown weeds that couldn't even survive through the days. On the 3rd floor, around the end of somewhere, which could clearly see the building's entrance.
"This is the building," whispered Hiroki. He was hiding below a glassless window and peeked towards the skyscraper building.
"That is the laboratory?" whispered Jer. He dangled on the edge of the window with his two paws.
'It looked very uncomfortable and heavy,' thought Hiroki while looking at Jer dangling beside him while waving his tails around. 'Think about it again; he is a holo. So it's weightless.' Hiroki eased his own imagination with his own reasonings and comments.
"We need to find a way to enter the building," whispered Hiroki while looking at the Ageha guards around the building.
"Let's try to peek inside the building," whispered Jer. He activated his eye-scan and finished scanning the building in just a few blink seconds. He jumped down to the floor and sat. He raised one of his paws, and a blue screen appeared in front of him. It showed something like a blueprint of the building.
"Wow," exclaimed Hiroki. "I don't know you can do that!" Hiroki was surprised.
"This is a piece of cake for me," said Jer, feeling proud while lifting his chin and showing a smug face. Hiroki drastically clapped his hands to praise his wonderful partner-in-crime.
"How is it?" back to the main point of the problem, Hiroki asked curiously, "Is it possible to slip in there?" he peeked at the screen from the side.
"Ehem," coughed Jer as if cleansing his throat; he continued, "Hm, looking at the map and the building layers. It's impossible to slip in there without getting caught." Jer pointed at each floor's emergency exit doors, located on the opposite of each floor. "I think they thought this thoroughly to prevent any spies or someone who's trying to slip inside the building."
"We need a more concrete plan for this then," said Hiroki and peek through the window to see the building. "We need to know how much Ageha guards are there." He looked down at the entrance of the building that swarmed with many Ageha guards.
"Too bad, I can't catch their signal to display them inside my blueprint," said Jer, dejected.
Silence filled the room while Jer was busy, looking at the blueprint from his screen, and Hiroki kept looking at the building to find chances.
Suddenly, Jer found a good idea that was worth trying. He said, "We can use your signal to detect their signals!" Jer lightly slammed one of his paws above the other paws.
Hiroki turned to Jer and said, "But my signal is different from theirs, they are specially made for guards, and on the other hand, I was made for a normal household. They differentiate the signals to prevent these things from happening."
Jer's bright face slowly turned to a sad face again. "I thought we could use it, sad."
"You can use mine," a voice came from a wall beside Hiroki and Jer. Both of them were shocked and stood to guard themselves against the source of the sound.
The source of the voice came out as if a puzzle stuck on the wall. It left the blank wall spaces like a jigsaw puzzle. It changed its shape to a guy who Hiroki and Jer knew well.
"Levi?!" Hiroki and Jer synchronized shouted the name.
"Shhh," warned Levi while putting one of his index fingers in front of his mouth. Both Hiroki and Jer were surprised by their loud voice and quickly covered their mouth with their hands and paws.
"Why are you here?" asked Jer suspiciously.
"Of course, I'm here to help you," said Levi shrug his shoulders.
"Why are you so willing to help us? And how do you know we are going to come here?" asked Hiroki, even suspicious.
"Well," said Levi while putting his index finger and thumb finger under his chin, shaping a v-shaped as if thinking about answers. "If I said, my master can predict every person's movements. Would you believe me?" said Levi glancing at both of them while narrowing his eyes.
"As if we would believe on your bullsh*t!" said Hiroki scoffed, and beside him, Jer was busy thinking about something.
"No," said Jer. "We believe in your master." Hiroki drastically turned his head towards Jer with a surprised face.
"Why do you believe him, Jer?" asked Hiroki, unbelievable. "It's even more suspicious why he is here in the first place!"
"We are in a tight situation right now, Hiroki. We need every help we can take," said Jer reasonably.
"Is he even an Ageha to begin with?" asked Hiroki, glanced toward Levi and narrowed his eyes.
"I am an Ageha. This is just a shape that I borrow from my master to make it easier to work outside," said Levi brightly.
Hiroki was stunned by what he just heard and tried to process it in his brain.
"That blueprint of yours is a fake one," said Levi pointing at Jer. Jer was startled. "They especially cover their building with those square pieces to disturb others from scanning through their building."
"How can they do it?" asked Jer, shocked.
"Of course, it's one of the creations of Yuu's foster parents," said Levi. "Here is the real blueprint," said Levi. He lifted one of his hands with an index finger, and middle finger stuck together on the opposite side of his eyes and swung it towards Hiroki as if sending a card flying in a cool way. A few seconds later, Hiroki's earrings beeped once.
"We received a file transfer?" asked Jer, astounded. A blue screen appeared in front of Jer; it showed a 10-floor building map above the ground and 5-floor underneath it. Hiroki peeked at the screen from the side.
"That is the real blueprint of the building along with the Ageha guards signals," said Levi. He approached Jer and looked at the blue screen from above Jer. He pointed at a 3rd underground floor from the blueprint and said, "Here is where Yuu is captivated."
Both Hiroki and Jer looked at Levi with an unbelieved expression.
"How do you know Yuu is here?" asked Hiroki.
"Well, I think I would need to tell him if he is going there to rescue the girl," mumbled Levi while tilting his head. "Because I have an intel inside the building," smiled Levi.
"Intel?" asked Jer.
"You will know when you go there by yourself," smiled Levi. He stepped backward and continued, "You need to plan perfectly before you go inside there." Levi joined back the wall and left both Hiroki and Jer astounded.
Hiroki suddenly jolted up and touched the wall, "There is no trace of detachment!" said Hiroki, surprised. "How in the world can this happen! It's like, yes, fantasy!"
"Keep your head under control, Hiroki," said Jer scoffing at Hiroki.
Brum, Brum, Scritt. The sound of a car stopped, and reached their hiding place. Both Hiroki and Jer rushed toward the window and peeked outside. They saw a black vehicle in front of the targeted building gate, and a few Ageha guards swarmed the vehicle for a security check before allowing the vehicle to pass through the opened gate.
"I think we can use this," said Jer, dangling on the edge of the window.
"Then we need to camp here for a while and wait for the right timing and right chance," said Hiroki glanced at Jer.
"We need a concrete plan before we move towards it," said Jer. For a few seconds in the 3rd basement, two beeping signals died out as the door of the gate closed. 'That must be my chip and Yuu.'
"Let's think of a plan," said Hiroki. Jer nodded in agreement.
---
"Ok, thank you for the report. Report received," said a calm voice inside a very dark room. It's so dark that the person's face was covered, but she was sitting on a single-sized bed with an iron standing.
"I can't wait to see them," said the girl while covering her mouth.
"It would be a great show to watch," giggled the girl.
"I should also prepare myself and inform him about this."
