The next day, Jer decided to set a time-schedule to prevent Yuu from fainting again. The research room would directly close at 20:00 sharp. The chair which Yuu sat on would move furiously toward the entrance and bounce Yuu out of the room.
One day, the clock ticked from 19:59 to 20:00. The research room's door appeared, and Yuu bounced out from her chair. Yuu tried to stand up and brush back her messy hair.
"Jer!" shouted Yuu angrily. "How many times are you going to do this?!" She leaned to the wall and crossed her arms.
"That's a weird question, Yuu." Jer appeared before Yuu and sat straight. "Of course until you are fully recovered."
"It has been a whole month already!" shouted Yuu, frustrated.
"It appears to me that you have a memory disorder. It has only been the fifth day since you fainted."
"I need to continue my research before they turn up to me to hand you over!"
"Woof!" Jer suddenly transformed into a Bukovina-Shepherd and barked loudly.
Yuu was a bit startled and realized her mistake. She glanced around the living room and found Hiroki standing beside the dining table with two plates of dinner on his hands; he was shocked by what he had just heard.
"Hiroki, you need to erase what you just heard," said Yuu uncomfortable.
Hiroki placed down both plates and answered, "Is it something that I cannot know?" Hiroki slowly approached Yuu, but he got blocked by big Jer.
"There is something that you cannot prey on, Ageha-human," Jer growled.
"Jer, stop it." Jer stepped back, and Yuu approached Hiroki. "Owner of HRK110, Yuu, commands to erase memory within 10 minutes from now."
"But!" Hiroki was unable to finish his words, and he buzzed, "Bzz… deleting memory within the past 10 minutes… deletion initialized…"
Yuu sighed hard, and Jer transformed back into its previous tiny poodle form.
"You cannot let your guard down, Yuu." Jer disappeared.
"Who knows there is someone beside you and me here." Yuu sighed again. She looked straight into Hiroki and brushed his face. "I think it hasn't been a month since I got you."
"Bzz… The deletion process finished." Hiroki opened his eyes and spotted Yuu.
"Yuu?!" shouted Hiroki, surprised. "I haven't made dinner yet; please wait a minute." He turned around and found two plates of omelet rice on top of the dining table.
"Did someone prepare dinner?" said Hiroki, confused.
"You prepared it beforehand, remember?" Yuu patted Hiroki's back. "Let's eat. I'm hungry."
Hiroki scratched his head in confusion, and they both walked toward the dining table and sat down.
"Hiroki," said Yuu while scooping a small portion of the omelet rice. "Do the groceries tomorrow."
"But we still got plenty of food to cook for two weeks ahead." Hiroki was surprised.
"Hiroki." Yuu turned her gaze from the food to Hiroki. "It's an order."
Hiroki opened his mouth but couldn't find any words; he lowered his head and said, "I understood."
The atmosphere between them turned sour, and the silence continued...
