Right as Isra laid her head right on it splattered everywhere on the floor to me and Ava. Isra's violet hair was now partially covered in blood. Isra didn't seem to notice or care because of how exhausted she was. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.
"I think a 10-minute rest would be fine," I said,
I leaned onto the wall sliding down tired with only my back on the wall now. The wall was covered in blood which unfortunately is now also on my back. There was nothing much I could do about it since I gave my spare clothes to Isra so I just let it be even with how I hate being messy.
Ava stands in the middle of the hallway watching over us, cautious of anything they might come here.
While I was resting I was thinking about how I was going to get out of this city seeing as how Bulvhiana has already reached its limit and there are still hundreds of mutants at the end of the city walls. I sighed and thought to myself.
"I hope the mutants are gone at the end of the city walls."
I closed my eyes to rest and right when I closed my eyes our rest was already over. I had to immediately wake up seeing as I heard the sound of hundreds of mutants screeching. Isra was already awake holding onto the rifle perfectly positioned for attacks and Ava already had killed a mutant that looked scrawny with its sharp shining blades as nails right around Ava's head in one swing the mutant fell backward from her.
I had stood up by the time the mutant had fallen.
"What's the situation?" I asked.
"6 minutes have passed and there were sounds from a distance that I heard instinctively I just swung behind and there was a mutant who had been camouflaged the whole time it revealed itself when I killed it."
"Are the mutants going to involve right now!?" Isra said distressingly, still tired.
"It's fine as long we're together and on guard, they won't attack a group or ones that are on guard unless there's only one person alone. I've just found this out from the files."
We stayed on alert and tried finding our way out as it seemed the stealthy mutants were following us closely hissing instead of screeching. While everybody was following me carefully about their surroundings I continued on trying to figure out where to go. Luckily enough there's a trail of clearly fresh blood in front of us leading the way out. Definitely nothing bad about to happen when we get close to the exit.
"Min, Are we almost there now?" Isra asked.
"We're almost out."
We kept walking and finally found the exit to the outside. Along the corridor to the exit to us, it looked as if it had been in ruin for a very long time as the corridor had moss and rust everywhere.
As we got out it was storming, the exit we got out from was close enough for me to see the walls of the city as my eyes still had a rush of power.
I could see from far away that there was barely any mutant left next to the walls. The mutants inside stayed as they were weak to rain or just water itself. Walking, Isra turned around to look at the building we were in.
"What the hell!?" Isra says surprised.
I turned around to also see what Isra was looking at. I looked at what Isra saw and it was horrendous, it wasn't even a building anymore; Bualivhiana took over the whole place.
Behind us we heard something collapsing and where we just came out of just collapsed not even leaving a gap. We all turned to see in surprise that the building was fully taken over.
You wouldn't even be able to call it a building anymore since it just looked like a big pile of mush with a few corpses half inside of it. Some of the corpses you see under their skins or some corpses you would be able to look through as in the middle of their body would be getting eaten by a maggot.
When I say a maggot I mean a giant maggot that is going through their body eating it. Half of the city seemed to be made of this mush. The only way we knew this was that we came out onto another building that was high enough for us to see a most of the city.
"Was this what we've been doing this whole time!?" Isra says gagging a little.
The building we were in was already taken over and if we didn't come out any later we would've been stuck in there
"Looking at it it must've already covered half of the city as we couldn't even see the other side of the city." I said,
"I think now would be a good time to get out the hell out of here." I said,
"Where are we going?" Isra asked.
"We're getting out of this place, what else are we going to do? Half of the city is already gone even if we went farther out you wouldn't be able to see the other side."
The only way out was before we turned to look at what collapsed. And now turning back around I could see with my eyes that hasn't weared off after drinking that last bottle of blood I could see the wall that had a hole in it that we could get out of and there's barely any mutant left next to the walls seeing as they must've left and went through the hole in the wall.
Isra and Ava followed me without me having to tell them as we headed to the wall which was still far away.
