The next day right after I clocked in I found myself face to face with my supervisor Joan. Her face resembled a bulldog ready to attack, her arms were crossed and her tail lashing back and forth. She called me over to her and then waited for everyone else to leave the time clock area before she started to yell at me.
"Todd, I thought I told you I wanted the meat wall fully stocked, all of the floors cleaned and trashes pulled all before you left last night. I also remember telling you I wanted every single meat cart deep cleaned!" snapped Joan only making every bit of good falling I had left over from yesterday and the dream I had last night sink away and now all I wanted was to curl up into a little ball and die.
"I tried there was just..." I started only to be cut off by her putting a finger in my face.
