The two of them then headed to the next house.
Arriving there, they knocked on the door and the neighbour came out of their house.
Upon seeing Fen she was left in awe.
The neighbour instantly clamoured in surprise, "Fen...?! You came back! Don't you know your mother was so worried sick thinking about you!"
Both of them were left alarmed by their neighbour's claims. It was the first time that they heard someone mentioning Fen's mother.
Amused by it Fen exclaimed cheerily at it, "Madame Shi...you know my mother?! Where is she?!"
Madame Shi replied to her sedately, "Aish....my dear Fen..it's been months that you were kidnapped by that witch. Your mother was so worried sick thinking about you! She has been looking for you everywhere. Since you didn't come back she has gone to the temple to pray for your safe return. It's been months that she stayed there"
