Amazed by it she clamoured out in awe, "What just happened now?! Son! What did you just feed me?!"

Caria was left distracted by it. She was pleased to know that Mencius was so considerate of them. She was gladdened by the fact that he has grown into a kind, thoughtful young man. Even if no one wasn't able to see through him, she knows the true nature of Mencius. She knows that he was just a young man who loves to receive respect and kindness from others.
Caria was delighted that both of her sons had come in time and saved her. They are indeed outstanding. Satisfied by it, she smiled in contentment and spoke up pleasingly, "You two have grown up well"
