Shortly after Xialin and her horse have passed out, the thick green fog quickly fades away without a trace. Soon after, a wicked female soul approached nearer and nearer towards her.
Xialin in her dream saw that her soul was being pulled out by something powerful from her body. It's like something powerful has forced her soul out from her body. Her mystical essence inside her too can't restrain the powerful evil force.
With her soul being pulled out forcefully leaving the soulless body behind, her soul was flying higher and higher up to the sky. From there, she saw her body lying on the ground unconscious. She had come out from her body. It was too late when she realised that it wasn't a dream but a reality, something evil have forced her out from her own body!
Xialin's struggled hard to go inside her body but it was all in vain. The evil force was too powerful that she can't get near to reach her body.
As her soul stayed there helpless, soon an unknown soul appear before her. From the looked of it, Xialin can tell that it was a wicked soul. The soul wore a red dress with a black coat over it. It has a weird devilish aura flowing around her. The soul smirked at Xialin and instantly surged inside her body.
Xialin unable to bear to see the scene shouted in trauma. She cried out in wretched, "Please! Don't! Don't take my body, please!! I am begging you! I have to save my brother!"
The wicked spirit didn't even paid attention to her cries, instead, it continued to lay down inside Xialin's body. Soon Xialin's body revived with the wicked spirit soul in it. After the revival, The body has got the face of Xialin but it was the evil spirit soul living inside it.
Witnessing every vicious thing that happened right before her eyes and unable to do anything about it, Xialin's heart broke into pieces. Her body was snatched right before her eyes as if she was some kind of an object which was tossed off aside. She cried her eyes out as she kneeled on the ground. After a while, the body with the wicked soul immediately got up and cranked its neck side to side. She then arose and cackled out in amusement, "Ha....ha....ha...Finally! Finally...I am revived! Finally, the world would be beneath my feet! Ha...ha...ha.."
The wicked lady pleased at her new body smiled evilly, she then pulled out her fair, soft hands up to the sky and stared at it and exclaimed mesmerised, "Huh..! Not bad. So...pure and soft! This new body have the mythical beasts essence too! An excellent fit for my revival!"
Ignoring Xialin's existence, the wicked lady was so over herself, admiring her new found body.
Xialin couldn't believe her eyes at seeing the vicious woman that her soul screamed to the wicked lady in misery, "You...Evil woman! Why did you snatch my body? What are you planning to do with it?! Give me my body!"
Hearing the pitiful screamed, the wicked woman turned to Xialin and gave a disgusting looked at her. She then replied in ruthlessness, "Your body?! Ha! Girl from now on it's my body! I can do whatever I want with it!"
Attending to her words was beyond Xialin's self-control, she couldn't bear to take it anymore, she immediately lashed out at the wicked lady, "You b***h why are you so shameless?! How dare you to snatch my body and claim it yours?!"
Xialin gave her all and rushed towards the wicked lady. She tried to grab her. The wicked lady immediately lifted her hand and released some weird magic making her to freeze unable to move not even an inch.
As Xialin's soul struggled hard to escape from her magic command, the wicked lady quickly dilates her eyes making it emits a radiant golden colour. She then turned to Xialin's soul and commanded her, "You....! Your body is under my control now go to the east cave and seclude yourself there!"
Xialin's soul immediately obeyed as if her soul is being manipulated by that wicked lady. She instantly turns aside and walked out from there towards the east cave.
Through the thick clouds of the fog forests, Xialin's lone manipulated soul walked towards the direction of the east cave. Since it's her soul that is walking, Xialin didn't feel pain anymore, neither did she felt hungry. The poisonous smell of the wild grasses didn't bother her too. Obeying the command her soul went towards the east of the fog forest. The wicked woman controlled her soul till she reached the east cave.
Xialin soon went inside the cave. As soon as she entered it, the barrier was effective again, making sure that no one can either leave or entered the cave.
The east cave was a small rocky cave which was guarded by the three mythical beasts.
It was the assignment of those mythical beasts to guard the cave. The beasts guarded the cave from a very long time. The wicked lady always kept her prisoner in that cave. The mythical beast that guarded the cave were her pets. Whenever the wicked lady gets into a new body she always trapped the owner's soul inside the cave, making sure that it doesn't escape from there. When the body died, the souls are free to leave the place. It's been quite a long time since the last replacement.
After a short while, Xialin was back to her consciousness when she came back to her senses, she was already trapped inside the cave. Xialin(soul) unable to figure out what to do she screamed in fear, "Let....me out! Someone please....let me out from here! I can't die yet! I want my body back, please! I have to go to the Cold Palace!!"
Even though Xialin cried out aloud no one came to her rescue instead the mythical beasts appeared in front of her and gave her a sharp penetrating glare, with their mouth-watering as if they want to devour her soul.
Xialin upon seeing their presence, her lone soul was filled with terror it made her shivered, she immediately stepped aside and started to weeps in the corner. It was as if the essence of the mythical beast didn't have any power over a soul without a body. By that time, Xialin realised that only when her body and soul combined as one will she get the mysterious power of the mythical beasts.
On the other side, the wicked woman already left the spot, pleasured by her new body, she made her moved towards the invisible barrier that lies hidden in the fog forest. The invisible barrier is made on a small portion of the Fog Forest by the famous Alchemist Zhang Wei. He stayed there hidden inside the barrier, making himself secluded away from the people, beasts and immortals. The invisible barrier stayed invisible to the naked eye. Only a person with enough spiritual qi or an immortal can see through it.
The wicked lady stood right before the invisible barrier and stared at the barrier with her fiery eyes filled with a spiteful grudge, it was as if she wanted to kill the person which was inside the barrier. She then used her prowess and cuts her (Xialin's) soft and milky left leg, making it to bleed. A stream of blood was flowing from the cut. With it, she screamed out aloud making sure that the person inside the barrier heard her cries and acted passed out in front of the barrier.
