Imagine you studied for 5 hours straight without a break today but you didn't do anything after that for one whole week. Now your progress is back to zero.
Did you experience this? Ever?
Well, I have. This has happened to me so many times. Unfortunately, that "break duration" goes from one week to two and then 1 month and so on.
How to cure yourself of this "disease"? Of course, whatever tips I give, YOU have to do it. If not, Reading all this would be very useless and time-killing. Make to-do lists every day. It doesn't have to include your long-term goals. It has to include everything important to you. That means, all those things which are to be performed right now or its deadline is coming in a few days.
Make a group in your whatsoever chatting platform. This group will just have you. No one else is added there. You can easily do that by adding some people for a group first and then removing them.
Type out all your urgent tasks on the to-do list first. Later at night, write out every task you have completed till now. To reward yourself, You can listen to songs for some time without thinking about anything or do something relaxing. You can put on a face mask and lie down while listening to calming and some chilling music.
If you don't want to go all through that hassle, you can just make a super delicious coffee just for yourself, sit on your armchair or your bed and while sipping your coffee you can read a book or watch Netflix, etc.
You can study just for half an hour but study every day. Don't miss a single day. Studying for just fifteen minutes a day is better than doing so for an entire day and then taking a long break completely.
I've heard a lot of people saying that mathematics needs to be studied every day. According to my, Every subject needs to be studied every single day. You can divide your day into different subjects; You can study every subject just for half an hour (breaks are included). This way, you'll be able to give everything an equal amount of time and will be prepared to rock your exams!
There are many times When we break because we couldn't score well. Crying won't solve anything; you need to correct your mistakes. Whatever I said just now doesn't mean you're not allowed to be sad or happy. If you're feeling sad, you should cry and this applies not only to girls but also to boys.
Crying doesn't mean you're weak. It's an emotion. You'll eventually feel sad or upset when you are not happy. Denying emotions is not a great thing to do. Who is telling you to cry in front of everyone? And who says you have to cry alone? You have yourself.
Learn to face yourself. Cry and be happy in front of yourself. Tell yourself you're not okay. You can lie to the whole world, but don't do that to yourself. Ask yourself, why are you crying? Even if you know what happened and why you're crying deep inside, explain it again to yourself. If you break down in between your words, it's okay.
Be upset but don't cry for too long. This world is not going to wait for you to become happy and then go on. Personally, when I feel very upset, I give myself some time to cry. Even if the reason is not enough, I know there are countless reasons because of which I am sad, and all of that sadness is accumulated inside and I'm finally at my highest point of patience.
Remember, No one will ever cry for just one reason. There are many events, situations, and problems that sometimes are not even related to the main reason. It all is just accumulated inside and is finally coming out in the name of tears. If you don't shed tears, It will put your heart under a lot of pressure and this is not a good thing. If you keep doing this, You might even start suffering from heart problems.
One more thing, In my opinion, I'd rather cry in front of a stranger or alone than shed tears in front of my enemies. These people are not exactly your "foes". It's just that you don't like them. Want a fun fact? We hate those people who hate us first.
Some might even be under the cover of "friends". Till now, the people whom I could trust the most were my parents. Getting loyal friends is like finding a pearl in the pacific ocean.
Being alone is not that hard too. It depends on what mindset you're all about. Are you alone or lonely?
Not everyone can stay alone all their life. It's a skill. People would rather stay with enemies than live all alone.
But once you get the hang of it, I swear, it's free real estate.
Even being consistent at all times depends on your mindset. What is your mood when you're studying?
The best mood you can have is calm and focused. Being happy is not easy peasy lemon squeezy for everyone. But if you're sad or angry, You'll affect your percentage of knowledge somewhere for sure.
Always keep this thing in mind-- If you can do something it doesn't mean it was always easy. If you get good marks, You can't say it is or was easy. That's because of your habits, because of your hard work somewhere.
No matter at what point you are, keep working hard. Even a lawyer needs to keep studying all the laws, sections, etc. A painter needs to paint every day so that they keep brushing up their skills.
Even if you get good marks, keep studying properly. Don't think if you're getting good marks today, you'll get them from now on without any effort.
Waking up at 6 am every day is being consistent, Completing all your classwork each day is also being consistent.
Lastly,
Taking less time in completing your work will also save a lot of time for your enjoyment and relaxation. The more time you take in completing something, the more time your relaxation is getting consumed.
