"Race, are you here to ask me again if you can court my daughter?" Nanny Miranda asked.
"You see, Race visited me a few numbers of times before just to ask me if I will allow him to officially court Cheska."
Everyone aside from Nanny Miranda and Race became surprised because of that revelation. They never expected that Race will do that. Nanny Miranda also explained to them that Race sometimes accompanies her when Francheska was busy with her career abroad. Even Francheska did not know anything about it.
"Ooh. It seems like Race is really serious about you. Why don't you say yes to him now?" Leon asked Francheska while wriggling his eyebrows. "That is the only missing—Ouch! Why are you hitting me again?"
"Shut up!"
And another bantering between Wendy and Leon happened that morning. Francheska did not pay attention to them in the meantime and slowly approached Race.
