Elven was cleaning the house, muttering under his breath when the bell rang.
He swiped his hand on his pants and walked up to the door , to see Van scrapping mud from under his boot in the door mat.
"Hey Bro!" Van was beaming.
"How dare you leave the door open!", Elven said through clenched teeth.
"Um what did you say? I couldn't catch it."
"I said, how dare you leave the door open!!?'Elven half shouted .
"Oh... Did I? ... sorry.",Van said with an awkward smile , rubbing the nape of his neck.
"What do you mean by 'sorry'?", Elven pointed his index at him,"This is not your father's house. It is my flat.So please, try to show some decency for my kindness and don't leave the door open like that or such.People these days don't have any manners, they barge in whenever the can. And most importantly, you never know who is a robber." Elven squinted his eyes towards the door.
"OK.",he said obediently."I'll remember that. But ...what are you doing?" He looked around the room. "What were you up to El?"
"It's your fault that I'm spraining my back now. Some cat came in and did this mess until it's owner caught it. That girl...also a curious character, banged the door on her way out." Elven picked up a cushion and dusted cat fur from it.
"Oww...but, A girl huh?" Van smirked. "Looks like your time was better spent than mine. How did she look?"
"Oh please..I really didn't have time for that.", Elven adjusted the magazines , "But she..... looked cute, had bangs. But she smeared some lipstick on my freaking white shirt, which I have to take off now." ,he let out a sigh.
"Holy... Bro , did you two just make out in your first sight!?" Van exclaimed.
"Hell no...she just tripped over me , that's it.", Elven rolled his eyes.
"Hmm....but it seems quite out of a romantic movie scene." Van mused playfully.
"If you don't stop now then you'll have to sleep on the doormat." ,Elven looked at him from under his lashes.
"Hey I was just pulling your leg bro.", Van laughed. " But have you thought about where you gonna study?", he leaned on the window sill, serious.
"Oh yeah,I have taken the decision to study in Leaf Carliven High school. It's around the block, not that far. " Elven walked up to the washbasin to wash his hands. " Do you want to enroll with me there?"
"Oh...sure.Thanks El." Van smiled his gummy smile.
"Its okay.", Elven dried up his hands on the towel .
"Hey , isn't your uncle the Principal of that school?",asked Van..
"Yeah.",said Elven shrugging.
"Guess we'll get caught if we try to do something out of the rule book. You should watch out your temper there , bro. " Van said , pursing his lips against a smile.
Elven shot him a look.
"Okay sorry, not serious , but I haven't seen the terrace yet. I'll just go and see it , okay?"
"Okay , But please, don't leave the door open."
"Of course , My Lord." Van bowed and ran, dodging a cushion that El threw at him.
He left by carefully closing the door behind him and climbed up the stairs.

"Hey,Ity , I guess I forgot my water bottle in my bicycle.I should go and get it.",said Eva, getting up from the floor in front of the bed, where Ity gave her the under bed closet to keep her things.
"Yeah sure, Do you want me to come with you?"
"No, no need, I'll be fine."
Eva left the room and went downstairs.
Her phone buzzed and she took it out of her back pocket to check it when accidentally her left foot slipped and she fell forward.
Luckily (and coincidentally , which is creepy) Van was running up those stairs and saw Eva falling. Before he could even act , Eva fell over him and he stumbled backwards, falling on his back on the landing of the stairs, their lips caught together, his arms wrapped around her . An accidental kiss.
