"Kanina ka pa dito?" I asked him. I invited him inside of my house.
"Yeah, actually. Last night pa," he said then scratched his neck a bit.
"What the fuck?" gulantang ko. "Bakit?"
"You were ignoring me the whole night! Hindi mo pa akong nirereplyan kagabi." parang batang anito.
"My phone was dead," I reasoned. Which was true, I was so busy with Azalea I forgot to charge it.
"Saan ka ba galing?" he then said, looking mad.
"To a friend," aniya at may kasamang irap.
"You mean , Ray?" he said then emphasized the word 'Ray'. I was shocked, hindi ko ineexpect na sasabihin niya 'yon!
"No! I was with Azalea!" I said and defended myself about his thoughts. He just shrugged and hug me. "Why are you here?" I asked him gently.
"I was worried damn it! You we even bother to look at me!" Nagsusumaong sabi nito.
"Wow!" I clapped my hands three times. "You were the one who didn't care about me when you saw me!" I fired back.
"Because I was jealous of you and Ray!"he exclaimed. My jaw dropped. I shook my head in disbelief.
"What the fuck," I said. "We're not together!" I told him straight to his face! The audacity of this guy! I rolled my eyes then placed my arms right top of each other across my chest.
His eyes darkened and his jaw clenched.
"Really?" he said, his voice was amusing. "After what we did we're still not together... Do you do that with other guys?" his eyes were bloodshot.
"Of course not!" tanggi ko.
"Then that means, we're together." His lips captured mine. Making it hard to breath, his tongue are slowly making it's way. I pushed him back.
"Geez! I still have worked!" bulaslas ko.
"No you don't" he said then start unbuttoning my polo.
We are now walking down the aisle of stores here in the mall. He said he wanted date, then date it is.
I went to the men's section and started looking for an outfit for him.
"Where do you work?" I ask while I began to look at every clothes there one by one.
"In a media company," he said coolly while his hands are on his pockets. "I'm one of the head in Film and Radio department." he finished off. My mouth formed 'o', he's really successful now. He made it, huh. "I work with Ray," he simply said. My eyes widened in shock.
"Ka-trabaho mo pala! You should have know he's straight!" I burst. He was so jealous kanina kilala niya naman pala! I rolled my eyes.
"I'm sorry," he hugged me.
"Stop, people are staring at us." Pagsusuway ko.
"I don't care," he simply said.
"I care," I rebated. I removed his hands around me. This guy is so clingy. "Baka may makakita sa'tin, I'm a doctor." I explained.
"So?"
"This will be a huge mess in the hospital." I said directly. He just shrugged but he let go of me.
"Here, wear these," I told as I picked all the polo that my eyes liked. He took it then went to the fitting room. After ten minutes, he went out.
"I'll get that all," he said coolly. I just nodded.
"How's your work?" I asked him.
"Before it was great. I went there cause I thought you'll pursue in becoming an artist," he explained. My eyes widened in shock.
"You shouldn't have too!" I exclaimed! He should have pursued his dreams. Way back then, he told me his dream was to become a successful industrial designer. It was like he read my mind then shook his head. "Turns out, I was bad at designing things. People told me I have great communication skills, maybe it's the reason why I also worked at a media company," he simply said.
I just nodded at his response. His eyes were telling me his hungry but he's not telling me it. Maybe he wanted me to enjoy this day.
"Let's eat," pag-aya ko. His eyes were not as gloomy as before it shined bright like it won a lottery ticket.
He dragged me into a restaurant.
"My treat," he said then pulled a chair for me. He then called a waiter. I let him ordered for us. He look so excited.
Right outside the glass wall I saw Daphne like she was walking away at someone. I looked closely, she look so... nervous. I told Jagger I'll just call someone he agreed.
"Huy," tapik ko sa balikad ni Daphne. Nagulat naman ito ng sobra sa'kin. "Ginagawa mo rito?" I asked her.
"May kasama ka ba?" she asked, disregarding my question earlier. I nodded at her. "Sama muna ako please," nagmamakaawang sabi nito. I let her come with us. We went to the table, the food is already there.
Jagger went up and pulled a chair for Daphne. We enjoyed our supper. Daphne left a money on her table then hurriedly went out, she even forgot to say bye to us. She was checking her phone constantly. I didn't mention her that there were something that's bothering me.
"Something's wrong with your friend," Jagger suddenly said.
"Yeah..." I answered na napansin ko rin iyon.
Jagger told me that we should head home. We went to our own respective houses. He said he'll bring AJ along.
I prepared for the night. I ordered some pizzas, chicken wings, pasta, and a lot of friendly food for kinds. I want this night to be special for AJ.
Eight pm na nang dumating sila Jagger. AJ cheerfully went to me.
"Tito! Tito!" She said then went to me open handed. "Kuya Jagger told me you're gonna tell me something!" She said, her smile was meeting her eyes making it chinky. She looks cute.
I looked up to Jagger, asking him with my eyes what AJ is talking about. He just smiled at me.
I asked AJ to go into the kitchen so that I can talk to Jagger. She agreed and happily went to the kitchen.
"Tell her, about us.." he whispered.
I was so shock because I didn't know what to say, the emotion in his eyes gave me assurance that I can tell her. I called on AJ, she went quickly to me.
"Yes po?" the girl said sweetly.
"Me and your kuya are in a relationship... Is it okay with you?" I gathered all the strength I have.
