Blaise walked into the Darkest Light, once again. This time, he walked alone. He walked gravely up to that stage that he knew so well. He took out his guitar and sat in stony silence, his face a mask of grief and pain. He sighed deeply, putting on a fake-happy mask for the crowd. The energy was in his voice, but this time, it didn't ring true. "Hey there! How y'all doing tonight?! I'm Reb-" He caught himself, pausing for a moment. "I'm Raven Ryder and this is How To Start Again!" He corrected himself, putting more energy into the last part of the sentence. Even as he said the name, tears pricked his eyes, threatening to spill and bring back so many memories. He picked the first note with resolve and sang sorrowfully, thinking of only Raven.
