"That's what you're focused on right now?"
"Yeah, that's what I'm focused on right now. I'm not sweet or innocent. What the heck gave you that kind of impression of me?"
"You're always smiling and going out of your way to be nice to people and when I get really close to you, you stop breathing and start blushing."
"No, I don't. What are you talking about? That's crazy, I do not."
Stopping at a red light, he looks at me and it's as if a light bulb goes off above his head. He leans over to where I can feel his breath against my neck. I freeze in place. What is he up to? Adjusting my seat belt for me, he whispers in my ear.
"I told you. Whenever I get close to you, you hold your breath."
Oh my gosh, he's right I do. Clearing my throat, I look around for something to take his attention away from me.
"The light is green now. You should go."
"I think I've made my point."
