Third Person's POV
"You lied to me?"
Jacob cannot even believed that Raine lied to him. It wasn't intentional but Raine knows that it really hurt his ego and trust.
"I'm sorry, I had to lie to you.."
Raine started to cry in front of him. She only thinks of Jacob's feelings right now. She wanted to make him understand but she knows it's her fault. That no matter how she explains, it's still wrong that she lied to him.
"Okay. You're saying that, you chose to lie to me and come and come with him..?"
She traces where Jacob was looking and Noah's behind her! She didn't expect to him there but he cannot even mutter any words because of the serious expression of Noah.
She cursed in her mind and tries to talk to Jacob but he only pursed his lips and looked away. Raine's chest ached to that and she couldn't help but to cry. Guilt was consuming her, she lied to him for the first time and it really made Jacob mad. She can see it.
