"How did you get here?"
I wanted to say that I'm looking for Jacob but I think that's out of business anymore. He don't need to ask me this too.
"My friends asked me to go here and find our instructor but..I found you instead..." I bit my lower lip.
I lied to him. I don't regret it. Well, he seemed like he believes it.
"I see.." He nodded.
How can I excuse myself now? I wanted to leave but he don't seem to understand the situation. He keeps looking at me like he wants to say something.
I reached for a stone on my side and tries to focus my attention there. Maybe, I could forget the awkwardness around us if I do this..
"Do you want to go outside for a bit?"
"Pardon?" I blinked. I don't think I heard it clearly.
He just licked the side of his lips and stood up. I actually heard it and I don't want to go with him. What for right? What are we gonna talk about? The past?
