"You've been studying for how many hours, Raine. Are you sure you're okay? We're getting worried.." Sam sounds worried.
"I'm fine Sam. I'll just need to do this right away," I gave her a smile and continue what I'm doing again.
"She's so stubborn. I didn't know what to do anymore.." I heard her whisper, I think she's talking with Gia.
"But I'm still glad that she's diverting her attention to her studies instead of rebelling," Gia commented.
They both leave me inside my room, Gia's right. I wanted to make myself busy just to escape the freaking pain. It's so hard to forget what happened a few weeks ago. I also handed my resignation letter and even if he's against it, he let me go in the end.
