Curt stood up to welcome Nathalia, but Sue threw herself onto him instantly and shouted emotionally, "No, honey, don't go. Don't go. Please don't leave me." It was so sudden that she lost balance and almost fell over. Fortunately, Curt reacted quickly and got her in his arms.
Nathalia watched nervously.
Curt sat her down and said gently, "Sue, I'm not leaving. Don't worry. This is Nathalia, your daughter-in-law, your favorite person."
Sue glared at Nathalia resentfully and shouted angrily, "I don't have a daughter-in-law. What are you talking about, Curt? We've just got married. Is she your mistress?!" Then she pointed at Nathalia and yelled at her, "Get out! Get out! He's my man! Don't you dare take him away from me!" Her eyes were red, and she looked hysterical.
