Nathalia said supportively with a smile, "I used to be even shyer than Sophie." And she looked at Sophie encouragingly. "I am very happy that you two came with me tonight."
She had made an obvious statement to the crowd that Lisa and Sophie were under her protection, and everyone should respect them.
