"Memories remain as memories, and the past is the past. When a man doesn't love anymore, you can't keep him." Mrs. Davidson said quietly as if she was speaking to herself.
It wasn't necessarily true, but at that moment, it did speak Nathalia's mind. "Even if it can't be forever, it's beautiful to experience love." Though she said it rather casually, she couldn't deny the bitter feeling inside. It was more of comfort she was saying to herself.
When one is in love, of course, they will want it to be forever and never separate from each other. However, is there permanent love? Is there love that will last forever?
When love fades away, and passion dies, what remains?
Nathalia was lost in her own thoughts as she picked up a glass of water and sipped unconsciously when Mrs. Davidson suddenly exclaimed, "Are you playing games with my son? You are not serious about it, are you? You are just looking for fun."
