Reiji noticed Lycus's dress was slightly wet from tears. Lycus probably was crying during the trial. Lycus hadn't noticed that Reiji was observing him.
'Do you plan to stay here?' Reiji asked.
Lycus finally regained his composure,'I am leaving.'
Lycus hastened to depart. He passed Reiji in an instant. Reiji became perplexed, wondering if he was being harsh to Lycus. Reiji realised Lycus had vanished from the Justice. So he didn't have the opportunity to apologise while waiting outside for Mei. Snow covered the surrounding mountains. Reiji sits on the stairs that lead down to the mountain.
''Why are you trying to read her? Aren't you invading her privacy?'' Sayo reminded Joshua after reading his thoughts.
"I apologise for that, mother!" Joshua became uncomfortable.
He looks away through the window, "Why didn't she possess anyone if she were really lost?"
Sayo's stare made Joshua tremble but still he held that thought.
