The future is so unpredictable that the fear of involving Reiji again in his life seemed to be too foolish. Joshua loves Aki and Reiji knows it because Joshua's behaviour gave away the secret. This is why Joshua never approached Aki fearing Reiji might find out. Joshua watched Aki from a distance and stayed like that.
'Was it her?' Nen asked but he seemed to be so sure that it was Tanya or whom Nen saw the other day. Aki couldn't but stare at Nen as Nen seemed really hurt. Aki didn't let Nen's emotion become his weakness. Nen holds Aki's both hands inside both of his palms.
'Please...don't push me away.' Nen requested Aki.
The same memories flashed in front of Aki. The memory of killing that baby and the face of Lilien. Aki immediately removed his hand from Nen's, "Why do I keep seeing them! Why is it related to Nen?"
