Reiji tried to understand how Aki was a druid. Ruan Erza was never a druid as far he knows and Aki was adept. A reaper with the characteristics of a druid. It didn't match.
His mind diverts to another thought. Why couldn't he keep their relationship ,was bothering him everyday. Aki's action clearly shows his love for Reiji was not over. But he is stubborn about the past.
