The string lights up in blue forming ice which calms her down. She turns into a human again.
'Levka, listen to me. They are Ruan.' Aki made her listen through her anger.
'Ruan?' Her eyes became normal.
'Yes! They are all Erliyen's kid. Did you forget what I had told you?' Levka calms down after hearing Aki.
She fell on the ground. Her golden hair was touching the ground, 'Forgive me father…I was about to harm your family.'
'It's ok.' Aki pats on her head.
He turned towards Joshua. Joshua's eyes were on Aki.
For a long while he had been looking at Aki which Aki didn't notice.
Aki apologises, 'I'm sorry for the mess.'
Levka looks at Joshua as Aki is going to him.
'Joshua!?' Aki became concerned to see Joshua silent.
'You didn't forget anything?' Joshua stuttered while asking.
Aki didn't answer immediately. After a while he said, 'Your wife…'
Joshua hugs Aki suddenly which was unexpected to Aki.
'I thought I won't be able to meet you again.' Joshua sounded very relieved.
"Why is hugging me like this? When did I become this important?" Aki moves out.
Joshua steps back too. Aki composed himself and said, 'You must have felt your wife's presence to be gone.'
'Ya!' Joshua nods.
'Levka is hard to control as you have seen. She can't control herself from killing, once she sets her target. She can directly hit a person's soul with just her gaze so I sent her soul…' Aki paused his explanation while looking at his hand.
'What!!' The thread that Aki was holding didn't respond from the otherside.
She has let go of the thread.
To see Aki going pale Joshua asked, 'Is there any problem?'
'I.. guess.' Aki looks at Joana, 'What kind of soul weapon does she have?'
'Suppressive.' Joana answers.
'That's good.' Aki muttered.
'What's going on? Which territory did you send her in?' Joshua didn't understand Aki's reason for tension.
'If I had sent her to any territory, she would still have gone after Kinari. So I sent her here.' Aki steps somewhere cold then suddenly the temperature changes.
Joshua followed him. They were standing on vast land, from where the sea could be seen. It's just like the place that day when Reiji had tried to kill him.
"Why did it have to be this!" Aki's heart became heavy thinking.
Aki shakes off his thoughts, 'I can't Welcome you here because it's…'
'NIHIL!' Joshua's surprised face seemed like he knows this place
'You have been here before?' Aki stepped near the edge of that mountain to see the sea.
'How could I? A living being cannot enter here without a…' Joshua stops abruptly when the words made him analyse how Aki could enter here.
Joshua's body became numb. His heart felt numb too.
'Are you…' Joshua didn't dare to ask.
The salted scent from the moisture in the air was the same as that day. The shadows from that day became visible in front of his eyes. Everyone was there. Aki closed his eyes and it disappeared. Joshua could feel the presence of that day inside Aki. He just watched Aki being there.
Aki frowns,"Not that the memory is pleasant, so why is it reflecting here...Let's not waste the time!"
'Can you sense your wife?' Aki asked after he stopped thinking.
Joshua had an expression that Aki has never seen. The question broke Joshua's chain of thoughts, 'I can.'
'That's good. Follow that energy. We don't have much time.' Aki instructs.
Joshua nodded and started walking.
"I was stupid. Why did I send her here! Have I become this weak?" Aki couldn't stop thinking.
Joshua smiles while walking ahead of him, 'It's not your fault...you didn't know she would let go of that thread.'
"Oh! I forgot he can read minds too." Aki sighs while thinking.
Joshua looks back to see Aki, 'You don't wear contacts anymore?'
'Ya.' Aki shakes his head so that no thoughts come again.
The sound of quarrelling caught both of their concentration. They ran towards there. She was fighting with divine beasts that guard one of the entrances.
"Is this girl crazy?" Aki couldn't keep his thoughts to himself.
'She stays in her own world.' Joshua comments
'You filthy! You dare to…' She was aggressively approaching the divine beast.
Aki interrupted,'Don't do that…'
Kinari was about to hurt them when Aki intervened and Kinari had hit Aki with her weapon but Aki blocked it with his hand. Kinari makes her weapon disappear and again brings it back. She puts her strength on it as much as she can and strikes again. The sword was absorbing the power of its surroundings. Another hit. Aki's soul weapon blocked the hit, forming into a sword that had a broken edge. It was holding the other sword that looked exactly like Aki's. Kinari was surprised.
'Why does your sword look like mine?' Kinari asked Aki.
'Does it? I'm not bound to answer that.' Aki takes his sword in his hand from where it was blocking her sword.
He brushes on it lightly with flames like his eyes,Golden and red. The sword repairs itself from its broken edge as soon as Aki touches it. Ashrith absorbs the power of Aki's sword.
Aki smiles,'It's as naughty as ever.'
Kinari couldn't understand but she hit Aki's sword so that it could absorb more power.
"Why does she keep hitting me!?" Aki became irritated.
Joshua was standing on the side. Aki couldn't understand why he was not stopping her.
She was using Aki's own strength against him. Aki moved the sword with just one strike, making Kinari surprised. The sword was still absorbing the energy. Kinari called the weapon back to her hand. When Kinari's weapon was filled with energy, Kinari smiled. She lifted the sword to strike Aki with it. The sword didn't hit properly. It was baffling why the sword was not hurting him. Her eyes were questioning.
"So she is not the killer who possessed my body. If she was she would have known that it was actually I who held the sword that time." Aki analyses her actions.
'He is indeed a blood weapon...but it's weakness is that it not only absorbs the surrounding energy but it also acts as a twin of any weapon when absorbing their energy. That's why you shouldn't let it absorb the energy when your opponent is using their soul weapon. It won't be able to harm the opponent.' Aki explains calmly.
Kinari shoves the weapon in the ground and it releases the energy into it. It spreaded away.
"She is clever!" Aki was moderately Impressed with her quick thinking.
Kinari didn't waste a second and hit Aki with her whip. The sharp cord cut Aki's right hand's sleeve. Another attacked Aki blocks with his palm.
He held the cord's side that was about to hit him, 'You better not…' Aki warns her.
'Let go of that!' She sounded very angry while her voice shook.
'Why did you let go of the thread?! I told you not to.' Aki asked while pulling the thread.
Her eyes became sad. She looked at Joshua. Aki didn't understand any of that but guessed something was going on between them.
Joshua extended his hand while asking her, 'Isn't it enough?'
She stands still. From afar some lights could be seen.
'Shit! They have found out. Joshua, you need to get out now.' Aki sends Joshua and Kinari back to where they were.
After making sure they returned safely Aki steps in and gets out where Joshua and Kinari were. Levka was watching furiously at Kinari but didn't say anything.
Kinari came to Aki and talked with a loud voice, 'What did you do to my body!!! Why can't I get in?!!' Levka screeched at her because of the rising voice at Aki.
'You can't?' Aki was surprised as well.
'I can't..It's not allowing me. Listen! You already are a big headache for me and now…' As she came forward while threatening Aki, Aki touched her forehead and she entered back to her body. Her body felt heavy.
Aki tells her, 'Your body will feel heavy for a while. It's a bit different when you guys leave your body because I forced it out of your body. It will adjust when you sleep.'
She looked at Joshua while she was sitting on the ground. Joshua was just looking at her.
The sun was about to peek through the darkness. Aki without saying goodbye to them left with Levka and Joana. Joshua steps forward to call him out when Kinari stops him, 'Yeshu!'
'Don't call me that.' Joshua's eyes glowed then turned totally black like Lisa's eyes, 'My name from your mouth sounds disturbing.'
Kinari says with a low tone, 'I can't get up.'
He looked at Aki who was still visible. Aki was smiling while talking with Levka. Joshua sighs as his eyes turn back to normal, 'You didn't have to test me like that.The result will always be the same.'
Joshua helped her get up. But she could not walk straight so he carried her. Kinari looked at Joshua. A portal appeared in front of them. Aki looked back to see them.
Levka turned into a giant bird and Aki got up on her and rested his head into her feather. The dry wind felt cold. Levka's Golden red feathers were shining like the color of the sun. His eyes became heavy so he closed them for a while.
