The whole hospital gets filled with the reapers. They were excited as well as surprised.
'Is it true? The Odd-eye is here?' the whisper started.
'Yes! Look, he is talking with Jarvi.' the one said to the other.
'It's Azusa Akio…' the other one was surprised.
'Who?' the first colleague didn't understand.
'A human kid, who could see the deceased. He has helped me sometimes.' the second one explained.
'He is not human though.' the first one said while tilting his head.
'What? I take human souls so I know. He is human but his heart…' he couldn't explain anymore.
The argument between them started and they were examining if Aki was human or not.
'Impossible! He is not human, I take Jinn's soul, so I know he has Jinn's soul. He even has a sigil.' the reaper said who takes Jinn's soul.
The reaper began to scan Aki's body, 'But you are right, he has a human body too...how come his heart is of Jinn's? Is he a half?' He uttered surprised.
'Could be…but don't they kill mixed-blood humans?' the first one said.
'Or...Maybe they didn't know about him yet.' The second one presented the possibility.
'He is the 'Odd eye'!! Amazingly, I am finally seeing him after reading so much about him...Is it really true that one of his eyes can human's soul and the other can Jinn's, regardless of whether dead or alive?' the new reaper asked. The first one nodded to answer him.
Another team was gossiping while waiting on the ground floor talking with one of the receptionists, 'Hey! Why have these many reapers gathered here?'
'Odd-eye' is here...so they have come to see him.' the reaper said.
She was a new one so she didn't know, 'Odd-eye? Who is that?'
He sighs in disappointment, 'You haven't read about the odd-eye yet'
She looked down as if she didn't.
It happened long, long ago, even before Christ was born.
The Jinns were suffering from the curse from the Almighty, for harming humans. HE banned the Jinns from the blessing and sent some Jinns to overpower them.
They are now called Pureblood Jinns.
Their Kings, their leaders.
Among those families, Ruan was a small but ideal King and had a great reputation for fulfilling their duties without any question. In one generation of theirs, in Ruan Fiddah's and Merlin Bernyce's reign, in 1200 BC the firstborn, Ruan Rigil was born with odd eyes.
Little did they know that those eyes had gifts. But they thought it was a curse.
Right One was golden red and the other was rusty red was not normal to them.
As their next heir, secondborns were welcomed soon because the firstborn had defects in appearance. The Twins were born in 1190.
Ruan Ryhill and Ruan David.
Among them, one always bullied Ruan Rigil, and Ruan David, the mischievous one. The twins became more accepted than Ruan Rigil. They began to train themselves. Ruan Rigil had more talent than those twins, that's why Ruan David was harsh on him.
As Rigil was very gentle, he never minded. One day, when Rigil summoned his blood weapon to kill a demon, his weapon absorbed the demon's dark force and energy when it touched it. Everyone envied Rigil and the bullying started to become serious. The sword became more powerful as his soul was getting dark. One day he stabbed the sword into his own heart. Then he healed himself. The sword absorbed the darkness of hatred that was built inside and with it, he used it to kill demons.
To see the Monarch may fall into the hands of a cursed Jinn like Rigil, they planned to kill him. In the name of bullying, they started hurting him with their swords. Even though they hurt him, he didn't protest by defending himself as he thought of them as his brothers, as his colleagues, so he must not hurt them.
In the end, they succeeded in killing him.
Among them Ruan Ryhill was one. While fighting he saw his face and his hand stopped defending. He died and his soul started to wander around in sadness. He helped other souls not to get lost and saved them from the demon.
An angel told him that the reason he has different eyes, with one he could see the Jinn's soul and with the other he could see the human's soul. But he never knew that.
The Almighty became happy with his deed that he served selflessly. The Almighty granted him territory and put his soul in a human body so that the Jinn cannot touch him.
He became Leon Rigil and was granted a divine beast, a Phoenix named Levka. Which became his emblem and had countless blessings. We have doubts that it was not the only blessing he had earned. He never fully revealed what he had received as his rewards.
He still began to serve the mankinds and the deceased. His name began to spread among the Jinns and they came from everywhere to join him. They claimed that they had found solace as his solace and after death he would guide them to soul dessert so that his fellows don't wander around.
He was feared by the others because he helped King Solomon to gain access to Jinns. When King Solomon prayed, seeing the disaster that Jinns were causing, he pleaded to the Almighty. The Almighty granted him the power. Leon Rigil helped King Solomon in a human disguise. But the Jinns could recognise his status as a Jinn. They banned half humans from being born from their clan. As mixed children are very rare they could easily monitor them.
When the Jinn found out King Solomon had died, one Jinn took his place and tried to rule. But failed, as no one was blessed to rule it.
Ruan Ryhill was ruling the Ruan Clan that time.
Ruan Rigil hid his identity as his brother and didn't let him take his Leon clan. One day he was seen by Ruan David. Ruan David felt a similar presence of Ruan Rigil from Leon Rigil. To his surprise, Ruan David cried hugging him when he saw his eyes and said with saddened eyes that his brother had the same eye. David confessed thinking he was Leon Rigil, a different person.
Leon Rigil understood that Ruan David actually was good from the heart. Leon Rigil revealed everything.
Ruan David got angry on the inside after listening to everything. Without wasting a second he went to kill Ryhill. When he got home he did kill Ryhill. David became the rightful owner of the sword and submitted it to Leon Rigil. But Rigil denied and said that the sword is in its right place now. Rigil focused to become a powerful druid and travelled across the world to help.By then he became recognised by every Jinns and human religious communities.
His death came eventually but he was reincarnated in the 9th century AC.
But this time, he was born as half-human, Ruan Erza, as his mother Bethshiba loved a human and that human had betrayed her when she asked him to marry her. She had nothing to do but to marry his cousin whom she was already engaged with. After a few months she found out that she had conceived a half-human child,which she thought was impossible. The baby was healthy and born without any complications.
She buried the fact that he was half when she saw his eyes. She knew that her ancestor had been reincarnated.
Ruan Erza,without any previous memories, started living his life.In 970 when Ruan Erliyen was born,it was recognised that it was Ruan David, who was reborn. They grew up well and Ruan Erza became powerful day by day,became righteous and just. Erza became Erliyen's bond for some reason.
His soul weapon, which he never summoned,was similar to the one Bethshiba was welding. But the difference was, not only it could absorb the souls but could also enslave the one it cuts.
As he had odd-eye that no one had, he became a threat for others even though he was nothing like that. He gave the blood weapon to Erliyen as she has been the owner for centuries.
His mother commits suicide suddenly. During the search for the cause of her suicide,they found out that Ruan Erza was actually a half-human.
His mother's death made his life meaningless. Him being half, brought the same cursed life he had before. They didn't want any half-human who had hid the fact of being half as an heir of the monarch. Even though Ruan Erza resigned when he actually just had known the fact, it was never appreciated.
His father died in depression when it was revealed that both Bethshiba and Erza were innocent. Ruan Erliyen begged Erza to get back but he didn't.
Ruan Erliyen became the Head of Ruan and Erza continued his life away from the public. He also remembered who he was when his Leon clan came to take him back. He began to Rule his Leon clan as well as became a priest.
When all the clan heads except the Ruan joined to take over the Leon clan again, they saw the sole Monarch of the Leon clan was Ruan Erza. He was killed again with the conspiracy when they saw his power to control the dead. A blessed Necromancer. They thought they had killed two birds with one stone when they had succeeded in killing him. But the Leon clan won't be ruled by anyone other than Leon Rigil.
As he died in 1865, after that he wasn't recorded where he was reborn again. Nobody could recognise it. Only could doubt. Tao Shin lost his life thinking Ruan-Xen Sora was Ruan Erza. She was not him. She got killed because of that doubt. Nobody knew where he was until today.
'What a life he had! He has the ability to take over the entire Jinn clan yet he never had greed to win them.' The reaper comments after reading the story.
'Strange, no? His own clan calls him a betrayer but when it was them who outcast him and feared him. He never wavered from his kind self though.' Another one sympathises with the story.
'Where is he? I want to see him too.' The reaper girl suddenly became excited.
Aki was getting down while talking with Jarvi.
'Jarvi-san was here?' She was surprised.
'North informed him that he had seen Odd-eye. So Jarvi-san hurried here.' The reaper boy said.
'He is so attractive! How can someone be this handsome!' She couldn't take her eyes off of Aki's smile.
