Aki noticed Reiji's complexion was getting better. The frown in between his eyebrows was gone.
'He is not in...pain anymore.' Aki told Sayo.
'Yes. He is…in some kind of dream…' Sayo was surprised.
'Dreaming?' Aki was surprised as well.
'His consciousness is connected to somewhere…' Sayo tried to read but was not able to, 'I can't read him.' Sayo looked baffled as she couldn't read Reiji.
Aki looked at Reiji. He looked around trying to see if he could see Reiji's soul but his soul didn't leave his body.
'He is still here.' Aki let Sayo know.
'Sayo...is there any connection with my awakening and Sora's death?' Aki asked in a low tone as if he was guilty.
'Mei?' Kinari touched Mei's head.
Mei flinched at the touch of hers. Kinari got startled as well at his response.
